Tip: it's much easier to line up the design correctly if you put the printed design down on the table and then place the item (wood board, etc) on top of it .. and then tape it on. This way you can see exactly where the edges are.
This is super cool! My husband recently got a laser engraver so we are super excited to experiment with it. It’s amazing the things you can do with these machines.
So I just stumbled upon this the other day. Your video has made this look so amazingly simple to follow. I love how you explain everything. I was ready to do this on my own but didn't realize I had ran out of sublimation ink. I am waiting on that to come in. Once I get it though, I am tackling this because with your instructions I have a little more faith in myself. I had seen another video on how to do this before and tried it but it didn't turn out well and I gave up. Your video is much more clearer. Thank you for this being out there on the internet. I did subscribe. I will go back and look and see what else you have out there. I hope that you have posted more things that I can learn from.
Great video! I finally got around to learning about using lamination to sublimate. No other videos were as detailed and also yours seemed to be the only one to mention which side of the sheet to put down. Followed your instructions and made my first gift tag. Came out perfectly. Thanks so much!!
The laminate and sub process is pretty simple. I also have another video sublimating wood with polycrylic. I would prob skip the white paint part and do just the coat of polycrylic from Lowes or online. :) Here’s the tray I did : th-cam.com/video/WwuA8KksAfE/w-d-xo.html
I have always used butcher paper but have heard of using parchment paper. Maybe I should try it on my next wood piece! I bought more wood yesterday to try in a video 💖
I have never made anything larger than that but I feel like you could. Idk if you would see a line where they meet tho? Lol I need to try to overlap and see what happens 😄😄
It's a fun thing to try, but I'd personally never use it for anything I intend to sell to a customer, because of that exact reason. A liquid polyester coating binds to the surface better, whilst a laminating pouch is quite thick and is effectively a single solid layer - the minute one part delaminates, all of it will.
Hello, every time I've tried to use the laminating sheets, they just peel off of the "object" I am trying to stick it to. Any suggestions? Thank you!!!
So I bought the sublimation paper don’t waste your time buying unless you have the same heat press cause I try using my cricut mini press and it didn’t work for the paper. But the thermal laminate paper dose work on the wood . So I just used a white iron paper for tshirt and did the job
Hey! Definitely recommend having a press! The Cricut hand held mini is no where enough pressure for sublimation. Some ppl do use the other Cricut press but just better to grab a clam or shell press esp for this wood.
Hey!! All of our links are listed in the description of the videos. :) You just click the little down arrow under video and “more…” Thank you for watching! ♥️
Yes! I actually have a couple of newer videos where I paint the wood and then polycrylic it. Or you could just sand and polycrylic the wood then sublimate. :)
I see the cloud is still in a good shape . Sounds like a really good project. I would totally forget to clean my hands 😆 good you show how to work with the laminate shit

Loved this thank you😊
Very good video. Slow enough to follow along and understand the instructions. I’m going to try this with my wooden ornaments.
Yay!! Thank you so much! 🥰💕
Crafters really have all my respect. The patience, the skill. It turned out amazing!
Thank you!! 😄

Absolutely Beautiful
Thank you! ☺️ 💞
Like the way you explain and walk us through the process!!! 👍
How very interesting. I'm not really familiar with sublimation as a process so I enjoy learning about new thinks. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Thank you so much! 🥰🥹 I enjoy making these tutorial/experiment sublimation videos. You can definitely do it :) Thank you again I do appreciate you. 💕
This is so clever, I did not realise how these were made! I love the design and the phrase is awesome 👌
Great tutorial. Thank you. I am looking forward to trying this out!

Very nice and easy to follow. Thank you.
Thank you! ☺️
Thank you! I’m always messing up the press times and heat settings. :)
I love this project and your little helper! New subscriber here!
😄 Thank you so much!! 🩵
Grease proof or parchment paper works just as good as Butcher paper ...and cost a dollar ❤
Thanks I was just wondering that cause I use parchment paper for all my presses
Awsome job! U made it look simple
woww how cool! id make so many of these if i could lol. those machines are so fun!
I am loving your videos. You are so easy to follow! Thank you! I did my first sublimation on wood! I love it!
Thank you so much!! 🥰 I’m glad it was easy and sublimation on wood is fun! ♥️♥️
Great video!! Thank you!
I enjoy this ❤❤❤
This is really cool. I tried to do this before and got a little impatient. I love how you made the steps seem simple.

Can you laser cut it after sublimated to create a puzzle ?
Hi where did you get the design ‘Act like a lady think like a boss thx
hi great vid, what software do you use for you prints
Hey! I use Canva :)
Hello where can I buy that design that you sublimated to the wood piece. I would like to get the digital download , Thank you in advance
Can you use an easypress
Does it matter if it's 3ml or 5ml lamination sheet
Mam Does it go after being printed? After some time
Thanks for sharing. Would this be considered waterproof?
The front laminated side yes. The back and sides maybe not bc they’re not covered in laminating sheet?
Beautiful ❤️
This was a very informative video. Thank you for sharing, I will be trying!💖
excellent video
I will try today, I was looking for how sublimate on wood.

Excellent 👍🏻👍🏻thank you...
Thank you for watching!! 💛
Thank you so much
What if you wanted to paint the wood before putting the laminated sheet?? Would you need to epoxy? 🤔 thanks!
Hello and so very cool. The thing I was wondering, is, do you have to use this type of heat press or can you use your Cricut Heat press (iron)?
This was so cool and fun to watch! I love doing crafty things like this! Thanks for sharing this, you did an awesome job! 💕
Does the picture have to be on sublimation paper or can you do it using regular copy paper?
Give us an opinion : butcher paper vs parchment paper. Are they interchangeable ?? for this project
I have always used butcher paper but have heard of using parchment paper. Maybe I should try it on my next wood piece! I bought more wood yesterday to try in a video 💖
Do I have to use “ thermal “laminating pouch? I have laminating pouches
Can you use clear HTV
If I wanted to make something bigger would using two sheets overlapping work?
I have never made anything larger than that but I feel like you could. Idk if you would see a line where they meet tho? Lol I need to try to overlap and see what happens 😄😄
Have you had any problems with delamination ? I've been trying this onto vinyl but the laminate is easy to peel off after sublimating the image.
Can you paint it white them melt the lamente paper to it?
Can you use self laminating sheets?
Great Video! I will be trying this on Bamboo. I also have the same press, What is the pressure you use? Your Daughter is Adorable.. New Sub. Thank you
I live on the outer banks so cool
Thanks
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching 😁
What’s the trick to get the laminate flat without creases or bubbles? Whether on wood or ceramic tile always creases and bubbles.
If you were going to use this sign say on a covered porch area, could you use a polyurethane top coat over it to protect it?
I have honestly never made an outdoor sign so I don’t want to say yes haha! 😄 I would think yes lol!
So does this become waterproof? Or water resistant?
Was it 15 secs or 50 when pressing the pic
wow, quality

What editing software do you use?
Hey! For this design I used PicsArt. I now use Canva which costs more but worth it. ☺️
Instead of butcher paper can I use parchment paper?
Yes! I’ve seen others use parchment paper :)
Beautiful!! How do I order your sublimation blanks.
Hey!! All of our links are listed in the description of the videos. :) You just click the little down arrow under video and “more…”
Thank you for watching! ♥️
can you do this on dollar tree cutting boards?
Yes!! I’ve seen people do it and want to try as well!! 💛
can you paint the wood first?
Yes! I actually have a couple of newer videos where I paint the wood and then polycrylic it. Or you could just sand and polycrylic the wood then sublimate. :)
Ok I'm going to check out more of your videos
When I use laminating sheets thermal on wood it bubbles I use a Cricut heat press 385 for 60 to 90 seconds
I'm having the same issue. It bubbles every time.
I see the cloud is still in a good shape . Sounds like a really good project. I would totally forget to clean my hands 😆 good you show how to work with the laminate shit
That was a great tip to wash your hands before working on this. I would've been the person who had to redo it because of lotion stains lol.
The laminating sheets don’t specify if they are 3 mil or 5 mil.
holly molly u talk fassstttt...
I keep getting bubbles in mine and not a smooth finish
My images come out dull
Does any know what she means by 17%
My didn’t work
Did you sub for 15 or 50 seconds? I couldn’t make that out.
