From a guy who sat in the front row and can be seen in this video having the pleasure to Watch Sebastian Giovinco in person up close was just so beautiful.(Abosulte disgrace how the club treated him and let him leave the club with a few words on twitter and club site) Always will be disapointed in our club for how they handled that. He changed our club from a mid table bland club to something special and gave us fans so much excitment cause you never knew what kind of magic he could produce at any given time. SEBA 4 EVER I also had the pleasure to watch BWP a lot in person and what a tremendous player he was for this League ! Got to see Drogba,Pirlo,Lampard,Bastien Schwiensteger and even got to meet all of them in person plus I got to meet Zlatan ! that for me is what makes the MLS special. It is changing from a retirment league to and moving towards young South America DP players and going for players from Eastern Europe from 25-29 as DPs also. The league is growing and it recieves a lot of laughing from Europe but I urge you to attend a Toronto FC cup final match or a 401 derby or el classico derby or the sounders, portland one. MLS for us North Americans is a really wonderful league.
It was a popular joke at the time, that wherever Robbie Keane moved to next he was going to claim it was a "boyhood dream" to play there. I don't know how many times he actually said it though.
Can't believe you never mentioned Mo Johnston. Nobody brought more controversy than MoJo. Celtic hero then crapped on there doorstep +joined Rangers via France. Went to US for safety. A Rangers hero for what he achieved.
Taking notice lol taking notice of old players taking there final pay cheques in a nice relaxing league. Messi said it him self he is going on a holiday and getting well paid for it lol
Many MLS fans are resistant to acknowledge our reputation as a retirement league. However, I think its important to acknowledge that these players came and made a huge impact on soccer in America. That being said, the league is progressing away from this strategy. Clubs are ditching the aging European stars in favor of young, upcoming talent (Almiron, Rossi, Pavon to name a few). I think its a while before we get our reputation back, but the quality of the league has gotten WAY better since Beckham arrived.
Josh If the only counter argument you have is stating the obvious, that I don’t watch as much as you do, then maybe there’s some truth in what I said lol
@@ImDougDimmadome My point in stating the obvious is that you are ignorant to the MLS therefore your comment has no credibility. You only read and watch news that talks about the aging stars that come to the league(which is a very very small amount). If you actually followed the league you would know it is filled with young talent starting at the MLS academies and even the signings of young talents from south america and Europe. The MLS is actually becoming less of a "Retirement league" and more of a destination for young talents to kickstart their career and get get sold to bigger clubs in Europe. Easy Payday for the MLS.
I like the MLS, but it's a bit sad how this channel has declined so badly.

What about El Pescadito Ruiz in 2002 when he debuted for LA Galaxy?
@brian' Pescadito who gave L.A. their first MLS Championship title.

@Copa90 you guys got to make sure you edit before posting. Saying Robbie Keane boyhood club LA Galaxy was just poor editing.
Alexi Lalas is not an icon he’s an embarrassment
The MLS is Preschool for European Players 🤣
MLS will forever be the retirement league for the rest of the world’s elite. Easy payday.
You obviously do not follow MLS if that is what you think lol
