Buddies, that´s AWESOME!! Killer playing by Matt, fantastic Amp Sound by Tavo`s Blondeshell. The difference between the Pick ups are not that huge but still there. I like the Bridge Sound most. My pair of TV Jones BS are still on the way.
The difference is very little but the neck is fat. The bridge is brighter. I'm ordering them to put them on my jaguar tan. Thanks for the video. Great picking dude
Great Video! I have a set of these pickups and a Nocturne Atomic Brain pedal.. All I need now is a Nocturne Blondeshell.. The Blondeshell amp seems to be priced around the same price of a '62-'63 Bassman with 6G6-B circuit.. However.. After doing research and using a Nocturne and a '63 Bassman.. I can say there are benefits to the Nocturne.. First, Tavo Makes great equipment! Second, the Plank/F-Hole mode of the amp is killer Great work Tavo... Btw.. Check out our version of a Duke Ellington classic, using a Nocturne Atomic Brain, TVJones Setzer sigs, and a Gretsch 6120
I installed some of these pickups on my 6120. I find the tone quite different to the classics. You know that sweet sound you hear when you first replace the stock Gretsch pickups with classics? It's like that all over again... almost. I find them more balanced and sweeter in the mids. The difference on my guitar was more pronounced than what I can hear on your video though so maybe it varies from guitar to guitar.
Sounds incredible!
Matt...your are a master. Great hearing you as always.
That dude is one hell of a guitar player!!
super tasteful playing ! I like Setzer pickups a tad better but probably wouldn't switch out stock pickups .

Just ordered the pickups for my ibanez af75
Wow! Great playing! Thanks for the demo!
I preferred the classics. Damn that dude can play.
those signature pickups are perfect for semi hollows, nothing better. worth the $300.
they are also great on the pro jet as well but do the full upgrade with the 1 meg pods . the BS signitures . really hit the spot .
who cares about the pickups, this guy can play! :)

The playing is incredible and the pick ups are way cool but That amp is a tone monster.
My 63 bassman doesn’t even sound that good
Great video comparison - What's the player like when he's not just noodling!!! awesome playing
he just came off a successful Las Vegas Show. "Heartbreak Hotel in Concert"

what's the first song - chet atkins style ?
Well, that was a money saving performance. Guess Gretsch knows what they are doing.
Where did you learn to play like that? Did you take lessons?....
to my opinion classic's are better.
Haha, Coca-Cola Classic 😄
