Many of your struggles could have been alleviated by doing some research beforehand, especially since this figures was like $50 (since you mentioned getting it at a con). Other issues seem to stem from you not being too intuitive when it comes to toys. Mythically bad should refer to you reading and following instructions lol
Awesome! My research was speaking directly with the owners of the company who ran down the things I covered. My opinion doesn’t negate the fact that they were very friendly and their figures look great. I personally prefer figures I don’t have to have an accessory (hair dryer) to enjoy. Thanks for watching!

I’m sorry you had a hard time. Mythic Legions figures can be very intimidating for first time buyers. The little baggy of silver pieces are adapters for wings and shields. There really should be instructions for those or at least a note directing you to their page where it shows what these are for. This particular cape is made to draw over his left arm and his left shoulder pauldron plugs through it. I have around 100 Myrhic Legions and I’ve never had one break but I’m careful. Heating does work and isn’t required every time. Only the first few uses until the joints release from their factory positions. The headless horsemen figure you have is easily one of the best I their line so please do yourself a favor and open and maybe it will change your mind on Mythics. At the end of the day the Four Horsemen do care about their fans, maybe more so than any other small toy company around and they want you to enjoy their figures. Please reach out to them for a replacement neck piece. But after all of that if you still decide Mythics aren’t for you then at least you know you tried the line. Sorry again for your frustrations with this figure. Happy collecting.
I have never before been so frustrated watching a TH-cam video - that is frustration with what you are doing, as well as frustration in seeing your genuine enthusiasm for the figure evaporate in 35 minutes, as a result. The simple fact, as disagreeable as it may be, is that if you are buying and collecting almost any type of action figure (Four Horsemen, NECA, etc., etc.) and you encounter resistance when attempting to move or remove parts, you absolutely MUST heat them up with a hairdryer or hot water before continuing and/or forcing them. I have unpackaged and articulated hundreds of figures (including Four Horsemen and the one you have) and have never once had such problems, when following those procedures. As much as it may also seem inconvenient, it is also wise to watch any of the numerous videos on TH-cam that provide more information about action figures, their parts, and how to use them correctly. All of this and the patience to find and learn abundantly available information to troubleshoot such problems is the only way you can successfully collect and enjoy action figures of this sort. And all of what I say is truly only meant to be helpful. I was greatly frustrated being unable to help you in real time. And this is the best I can do after the fact. Good luck!
Your frustration is understandable. Unless you have messed with the figures before, they are not out of the package play figures. The figures are quite cumbersome especially if you’re new to the line. Great sculpts but difficult to play with
Hello! 1st time viewer here! I have been collecting Mythics for around 7 years now and it is true that they can be a bit frustrating at times. The thing is, these figures are true collectables and need to be handled gently. I see alot of hasbro, mattel items that you review and those things, marvel legends, masters of the universe are made so that a 5 year old can handle them without fear. Mythics are not that. Dont give up, you can replace a neck peg. The line is worth it, but like it says on the warning paper, heat them up and be careful with the tugging and pulling. I hope you have a better experience next time!
honestly, that is probably not the best first figure to get into mythic Legion with. When they say you have to heat them up, they really do mean it. I have broken a couple of figures in the past not following that advice, myself, and yes, it is very frustrating considering how expensive they are, but in the end, these are not meant to be toys that can stand abuse, they are rather delicate. Watching your video was a little bit heartbreaking because it was kind of predictable that the ending wasn't going to be very good. Sorry that it happened to you. and yeah, those arrows are notoriously brittle. None of my figures still have their arrows intact. Whatever, it's not like they can really get into proper archery poses anyway, so I don't really care about the archery stuff. those quivers and some of the sword scabbards and shield clips, those are also notoriously easy to break. As someone who is totally blind, it is frustrating because sometimes either eye or one of my cats would knock the figures off the shelf, by accident, of course, and almost every single time, either a shield clip would break, or some other brittle pieces would break. So now I pretty much take them out of the box, put them together, put them inside a glass display, and leave them there.

Mythic Legions have great paint, and acessoires, but low quality plastic and are overpriced. You should not have to heat figures but you also dont know how to handle them LOL. Looks like you are changing oil in your car. Get a grip.
😢 Sad to see your 1st Mythic Legion experiance result was so bad But to be honest you made things difficult 😏 you really forced thing that you don't know, Its Frustrating to see you frustrated on your own doing 😤 Putting those weapons on the hands was confusing 🤨 I never did that, specially if I see holding hands are very close and tight 🤔 I would open them up 1st and put the weapon when they're open up 😤 putting the bag over the head 😵remove the head 1st 😤 I think you should watch some few reviews before makin the unboxing specially to figure you are not familiar too 🤔 Its a good review for people to know what not to do.
This is exactly why we have people who are employed specifically to conduct "Quality Control". Obviously, it seems like MythicLegions tried to skimp on this and didn't bother having any Quality Control whatsoever!
From what I'm seeing, it looks like they've changed the plastic composition to a softer /cheaper version . Instead of snapping into place you're squashing it.
This was a very frustrating video to watch...i wish i could get wal-tor for retail price. You read HAIR DRYER and said, "yeah the air in my room is pretty warm, it should be fine". Bro come ON! Have you ever opened any adult collectibles like NECA, Mafex, S.H. Figuarts, etc? They're all the same way, this isnt new stuff. Idk man, id like for you to do some research and open that headless horseman, but if you cant even take a SMALL amount of time to do what note tells you then maybe you should stick to the kids toys you normally review. Save these figures for when you have patience and are not on camera...
You literally read the instructions/warning about heating it up but then didn’t do it when it was obviously tight?🤷♂️ Tight joints aren’t exclusive to mythic legions. Contact their support, which is really good, and tell them you broke the neck piece. They will probably send you another. Next time just follow the instructions. I have the same figure and had no issues when heating up the joints when configuring.
Sorry it went down like this. The quiver clip is meant to clip onto one of the belts! Have you ever played with a figure before?! LOL. The paper totally says to warm up the figure! That makes putting on the armor 1000% easier. Legions have a bit of a curve as to figuring them out. The cape totally goes around his arm and the little notch is so the shoulder armor can go through it and hold it on his back. Maybe try watching a review to see how to put on the shoulder armor and whatnot. Man, don't let this one figure stop you from checking out other figures in the line. They really are cool figures! Good luck.
Also, I do the water bath versus the hair dryer. I've had more GI Joe Classified figures break than I have had Mythic Legions break. Email the 4 Horsemen customer service, they will send you replacement parts (for free).
Please just follow the instructions you read at the very beginning before trying to use brute force then complain about your mistake. Everything except the arrow could have been avoided had you warmed the figure up. Just takes a minute.

that and you struggled with the knife clipping onto the belt when you were trying to clip it onto the thickest double layered area meant for a sword

Use a blow dryer on the holes in the back of the figure. That allows the should Pauldrons to fit in a lot easier.
