I had a friend's baby/toddler that would do that and then she would poop it out and it was the worst diaper rash I've ever seen 😬

You know, if you guys like to go to the beach, my advice would be to make sand castles with her and dig holes. That’ll maybe make her see that sand isn’t so bad, but it’s whatever you wanna do. If she’s worried about hands getting dirty I’d show her how to get it off in the ocean. Hope this helps😊😊😊😊
Recently in Florida East Coast digging in sand a family of 4 from Indiana here on vacation, lost their son as after lightly shallow sand was dug by kids, it swallowed the boy now passed.
They stated NOT to mess or dig sand for kids in Florida for that very reason.
I know we have problems with sink holes on WEST coast of Florida, but now we see on East Coast as well!!!!
Try using swimming shoes that might help.
