I’m 22 and still living with my parents, and they live a very modern lifestyle. We’ve eaten frozen meals and takeout for every meal. We wake up when we have to. Overall, just living day by day. I started watching your videos last year and fell in love with your channel. You, along with others, have inspired me to start eating healthy, start my own herb garden (starting off small lol,) and have a deeper understanding of this ride called life. *side note, I’ve lost 44 pounds which has inspired my family to start too. Our family of 6 has lost a total of 122 pounds altogether* Please continue to make videos for as long as you can, because they don’t just entertain aesthetically and give you that warm fuzzy feeling, they inspire others to step out of their comfort zone and be better versions of themselves. 🤍
To be honest i wouldn't call eating frozen meals and takeout everyday modern, it's just unhealthy, or consumerist maybe. Many of us live a healthy modern lifestyle. We have modern values, according to most churches, that doesn't mean we disconnect ourselves from our wellbeing, i'd argue the opposite. Regardless, congratulations on your achievements! Truly admirable.

Pothos I agree that there is a healthy and unhealthy way of living, but many modern family’s lifestyles are very unhealthy (excess food intake, lack of physical activity, high use of technology.) It just depends on how you are looking at it. Of course there are exceptions, but there are also “modern” patterns that are not good for us but yet a huge majority of people, at least in America, partake in them. Anyway, thank you! ❤️

As a Muslim we are supposed to get up before sunrise and pray the first prayer of the day. There’s blessing in the days when a person can get up before sunrise.
Yes, so true. I do find that when I wake up to pray Fajr, my whole day is off on the right foot and I am energized, positive, motivated and productive throughout the whole day.
It makes my heart so full to hear when people struggle with faith, but find their way back 😭 God truly holds our hands everyday, and picks us back up when we call to him. Much love 💖
I find peace in talking to God. Even throughout the day, when I’m happy or angry or anxious, I would ask „God, why is this happening?”, and I almost instantly feel the connection to Him and the world around me. I feel grounded, open-minded and mentally ready to face whatever I’m bumping into. Also, I noticed that the more I pray, the more tolerant I become and this feels great 🙌🏼❤️
I don’t read my bible as much as I like but when I do it brings me peace and a calmness and in today’s times that’s so needed. You have such a soothing way about you and clearly a kind heart

I too agree, mornings are magical & so feel God's presence on my early morning walks with my pup also, watching the sun rise, looking over the farm lands that meet the Rocky Mtns....doesn't get much better than that. I'm in the midst of personal growth and it can get chaotic, from healing inner childhood wounds to adjusting to life's changes. But when I watch your videos, I experience true peace and reassurance that I can one day live a simple and loving life like yours. I become hopeful again :)
Thank you for this video.. I have been struggling a lot recently and have tried to stay away from youtube and social media as I find myself comparing to others and that it further damages my mental health. But, today... after a really hard morning I got on youtube and this was the video I chose. It calmed me in a big way... I am not religious but something about this video made me feel like maybe at least trying to find what best fits my beliefs might be what my soul needs to find the peace its desperate for.
I love these kinds of mornings. I haven't seen once since becoming a mom. My 3 year old wakes up at 5:30am every day. So for me to get that quiet time I'd have to take a cut in my already lacking sleep lol. But someday I hope, I'll be able to do something like this again! Getting quiet time/solitude before the rest of the world wakes up is such a beautiful thing.

I devoted over a year to start my day with the word of god our time together is a great start to every morning. I feel like there is nothing I could conquer with him by my side. Is good to embrace and take time with the lord we are in precedence time of so many things happening that could fear or confused us. I have to say 2019-2020 has been a time that truly made me question my faith. I lost my brother Greg @ only 56 April 4th 2019 was very grateful to have been there for his last 4 days on this planet, I have Multiple Sclerosis and Lyme disease as well as other health problems & Sept 2019 was diagnosed with a brain tumor that had to be removed, the whole Covid situation made me delay the surgery after consulting with my neurosurgeon. 2 days after the 1 yr anniversary of my brother Gregs passing we lost his oldest daughter Haley @ 26, his death was too much for her. I am 1 1/2 weeks post op brain tumor surgery right now, tumor grew to 4/5ins into the vein but he removed it put a stitch in the vein to close it & I'm doing well. I love the self help aspect of your channel I've been watching for a while. I know things happen for a reason which is not for us to know or question. One moment at a time is how I will live my life from this day forward. Xoxo sorry for the rant it's just been soo hard & came at me fast and furious. Watching your videos is like a little piece of heaven❣️. I started reading my bible each Sunday out on the deck a few years back. For daily contemplation I've been reading 'Jesus Always', which a friend gifted me at Christmas. It is like you say, very comforting & makes us think about things from different perspectives. I do need to try the early morning rising though....because that sounds blissful.🙏💕

I have been struggling a lot recently and have tried to stay away from youtube and social media as I find myself comparing to others and that it further damages my mental health. But, today... after a really hard morning I got on youtube and this was the video I chose. It calmed me in a big way... I am not religious but something about this video made me feel like maybe at least trying to find what best fits my beliefs might be what my soul needs to find the peace its desperate for.
I love these kinds of mornings. I haven't seen once since becoming a mom. My 3 year old wakes up at 5:30am every day. So for me to get that quiet time I'd have to take a cut in my already lacking sleep lol. But someday I hope, I'll be able to do something like this again! Getting quiet time/solitude before the rest of the world wakes up is such a beautiful thing.

Amen, I love starting my day with God. Since the pandemic our church family has a morning prayer group via Facebook live and when my kiddos nap I spend time reading. I’m going through the New Testament in the NLT currently, God bless.

I devoted over a year to start my day with the word of god our time together is a great start to every morning. I feel like there is nothing I could conquer with him by my side. Is good to embrace and take time with the lord we are in precedence time of so many things happening that could fear or confused us. I have to say 2019-2020 has been a time that truly made me question my faith. I lost my brother Greg @ only 56 April 4th 2019 was very grateful to have been there for his last 4 days on this planet, I have Multiple Sclerosis and Lyme disease as well as other health problems & Sept 2019 was diagnosed with a brain tumor that had to be removed, the whole Covid situation made me delay the surgery after consulting with my neurosurgeon. 2 days after the 1 yr anniversary of my brother Gregs passing we lost his oldest daughter Haley @ 26, his death was too much for her. I am 1 1/2 weeks post op brain tumor surgery right now, tumor grew to 4/5ins into the vein but he removed it put a stitch in the vein to close it & I'm doing well. I love the self help aspect of your channel I've been watching for a while. I know things happen for a reason which is not for us to know or question. One moment at a time is how I will live my life from this day forward. Xoxo sorry for the rant it's just been soo hard & came at me fast and furious. Watching your videos is like a little piece of heaven❣️. I started reading my bible each Sunday out on the deck a few years back. For daily contemplation I've been reading 'Jesus Always', which a friend gifted me at Christmas. It is like you say, very comforting & makes us think about things from different perspectives. I do need to try the early morning rising though....because that sounds blissful.🙏💕
