TL/DR: perfect copying is used as a method of practice. Her straight nose & more slight smile for example. if anyone struggles with pressure when erasing the guide (digital artists) can change the layer opacity and make a layer above it. its different on different softwares how to do this but it is usually attached to the layer options

No, I mean as a digital artist, this is only from my experience, I normally go from sketching the head, then add another layer sketch the hair, after I'm done sketching I soften it, add a little bit of details, and move to the coloring.
I think she does the sketch and line-art on the same layer but I don’t think she does the coloring and rendering on the same layer though. I see her erasing the messy sketch with a soft eraser :)
