Playing with backing tracks is one of the best ways to exercise our knowledge as musicians.
Practicing solos and even rhythm over the backing tracks is a great way to prepare ourselves to play with a band.
Not everyone has the chance to play with a band or even with other musicians, that's why I've decided to create this channel so that somehow everyone can feel what it's like to play with a band.

There will never be enough blues in B!!! If you're enjoying what you're seeing, a thumbs up would be greatly appreciated. It really helps the channel grow! Thanks!!!

Thank you for the great backing track! This, however, is not a I-IV-V progression in which only the V chord is a V7; it’s a Blues with 3 Dominant 7 chords. Each one has its own Mixolydian scale combined with its own Blues scale as the “inside” notes: 1-2-b3/3-4-b5-5-6-b7. - Never go from 3 down to b3 which would be away from a chord tone. Also 2 is probably the hardest one of those notes to use properly. Cheers!

Its B minor right? Not Major as it says in the title.

Hey, it's actually B major, but I put the scale in B minor to make it easier for those who are starting to play blues.

@@backingtrackscenter Hmm ok....because playing the b minor pentatonic sounds great, but playing the b major pentatonic sounds terrible......so I dont understand....

@@NiklasMalmqvist The sound we're used to hearing in blues is a blend of major and minor pentatonic scales, plus the blue note. When you play the minor third followed by the major third, it's pure blues, lol. But a quick guide would be, on the first degree B you can use both major and minor pentatonic scales, on the fourth E only the minor of B will sound good (or the major of E), and on the fifth F# you can use both major and minor of B or the major of F#.
