Each time I log onto TH-cam subscribed, the first image of this video just blows me away. The grass, rail color, the photographer... Super. Could be the cover shot on a model railroad magazine.

Man... I've watched a few of your videos before. But I did not realize the overall size of your layout until watching this. Insane!

Thanks for that. This modified track plan makes it feel even larger. I’m really enjoying it

Huge multilevel layout with smooth, perfect trackwork and gentle curves ! Realistic speed makes the (long) ride enjoyable.
You still got a few hours of scenery to complete. Great operational possibilities too.

Looking good! Leaving staging just after the arrow pointing to the Amtrack jct at 1:15 and next at1:23 there are two sets of red leds hanging from above? Is this something you are working on for the future or? Curious as I am trying to follow your signalling work. Also seems like you have put up more backgrounds and plexiglass since your last update.

Thanks Wil! The signals hanging from above are placed there simply because that area is only visible through a camera so I had to make it obvious for the operator to see on the camera screen. In fact, I had to make any kind of proceed aspect some kind of flashing yellow because it’s almost impossible to differentiate between red, yellow and green on my cameras, especially from far away. The additional plexiglass is to either protect some of the new signals or and industry placed in a location where people may be reaching into the layout and accidentally bump into some delicate tank cars for example. I also started to add plexiglass on the spline sections that don’t have anything around them.

Pretty darn impressive, is this a club or home layout?

What DCC system do you use?
