How could you watch that game and say they are better than Tennessee’s defense? They literally shut OU down. Deleted their running game entirely. 4 takeaways on the road.
Tennessee definitely has the #1 Defense. Y’all might be the 3rd best D though, in all honesty. Nice try, hating ass hater. GBO 4-0
We kept the clock running and you never got within a score of us. Seriously? That's called smart coaching. Your backup had 13 carries for 22 yards. We made sure no big plays would happen and won comfortably while protecting our qb from the very good OU D while we were running our 3rd string tackles out there to get beat over and over.
Tennessee’s defense against Jackson Arnold and company is nothing to brag about. But the fans make excuses why a second string replacement QB, a true l freshman , given a quarter to get his bearings, easily moved against Tennessee in the fourth. No, Tennessee wasn’t letting up. JH made the decision to go conservative, which he does sometimes, to protect his QB. He assumed his defense could prevent scores. It was a good coaching move. OU was being successful against the Tennessee run, holding the number one offense to 150 yards rushing. The Tennessee QB was getting beat up. OU forced JH to get out of his high scoring offense. The media will say what they will, but SEC film guys and defensive coordinators know what happened. No one, including OU, expected Hawkins to come in against a good defense and move the ball. After all, OU hadn’t moved the ball well against anybody. OU has almost its entire defense back next season, and almost as many of its offensive players. 2025 is the year they are pointing towards. Good game
But sure what game they watch but Oklahoma has the better defense with what they had to work with when it came to the offense that Oklahoma has. The defense only gave up 13 points and JA is not good at all to be honest.
Tennessee got over 100yds rushing on that defense & if the O-Line has been healthy NICO would have had more time to throw the ball. The score margin would have been bigger.
LOL, y’all just have the worst field in the country. There are high schools that have better fields. A program that fans claim to be one of the nations best should have a much better field than the trash that the Vols beat y’all on last night.
@@FroDough yk what you’re right man. But if tn would’ve beat them 52-3 the narrative wouldn’t have been that tn dominated a good team but that ou is no good.
Nope, it was pretty dominant. Tennessee was super conservative in the second half and it still would have taken a miracle for Oklahoma to win. OU never led. Never really threatened Tennessee and Heupal didn't try to score in the second half because he knew Oklahoma couldn't score. Which was true until it didn't matter. Tennessee did not “dominate” that game. They dominated on defense but beating an historically bad offense is laughable.
22-3 going into the 4th
I'm sorry but 25 to 15 isn't destroying a team
I can tell you didnt watch the game 😂
Box score watcher
Well that’s what they said when Georgia beat us 27-14 like 2 years ago now the goal post has moved. 😂
OU backup QB scored pretty easily on that defense....not impressed 🤷🏼
We don’t care, 25-15
We don't need you to be, cuz. We were in prevent the last 8 minutes of the game. Everyone can move a bit on prevent. Coach hype said he dialed back the offense to not get anyone hurt on yall's dangerous ass shifty field. Yall lost a senior starting corner to a broken ankle because of that field. Nice try, hating ass hater. GBO 4-0
Called the dogs off. That's the only reason he moved the ball. Josh Heupel went soft on his old team. That pissed me off!!!
@@swagger316 Or he's good. Get pissed, it's your lot in life, peasant
Good game
😂😂😂
But sure what game they watch but Oklahoma has the better defense with what they had to work with when it came to the offense that Oklahoma has. The defense only gave up 13 points and JA is not good at all to be honest.
Tennessee got over 100yds rushing on that defense & if the O-Line has been healthy NICO would have had more time to throw the ball. The score margin would have been bigger.
Yeah Tennessee got the better of my Sooners but at least we don’t have to wear that shitty Orange! I thought Okie state and texASS was bad! 😂
LOL, y’all just have the worst field in the country. There are high schools that have better fields. A program that fans claim to be one of the nations best should have a much better field than the trash that the Vols beat y’all on last night.
You'll get used to it now that we tatooed it on your azz
Get use to seeing, ànd getting whooped by my Tennessee ugly orange .
5:38 Did you see Jackson Arnold play? What was your question again?
Dominant? Yeah that’s not true
Clearly didn’t watch
@@flikkin clearly you don’t know ball
@@FroDough yk what you’re right man. I guess playing a top 15 team on the road and going up 19-3 at halftime, forcing them to bench their qb for a true freshman, then playing conservatively on offense while leaning on elite defense for 2 quarters doesn’t cut it.
Oklahoma is good, they have a good venue, but Tennessee was never in jeopardy of losing this game.
@@flikkin I know I’m right. You didn’t need to tell me.
