Our beloved Rasul Allah SAW had 4 daughters who lived while his sons passed away. His blessed lineage is through his beloved daughter Hazrat Fatima RA. Ap SAW is an example for mankind. And a girl-child brings Allah's Mercy with her.
Also, not all women desire to have babies of both genders. My mother had my sister first and then when she was expecting me, people told her to recite a certain wazeefa so the second child would be boy, but my mother didn't read any wazeefa because she was satisfied with whatever Allah would grant her. I was born and both my parents were happy and have always treated me like the most special kid in the world. So no, not all parents desire to have children of both genders. Alhamdolillah that we were enough for our parents.

We are 5 sisters but Alhamdulillah my mother or father never made us feel that they are not happy. They always thank God that God has blessed them or have only 1 brother. But we got a lot of love, Alhamdulillah, we are very happy that God gave us such good parents, Alhamdulillah. ❤❤❤🎉❤

During my mom’s first labour delivery everyone was expecting a boy but my father was the only one who wanted first child born to be girl and his wish came true and I was born but so many in my family were dissatisfied that why there has to a girl? But this expression of my family changed after sometime as their was no choice but to except me. But my father side of family was cruel and is still cruel as they didn’t even came to see my face for 6 months after my birth. But that’s okay as I don’t like them.
I am the 5th girl in my family.When i was born my mom cried alot.My whole family was like that someone has died.I don't know but this makes me really sad😔

I don't know what is sadder - Her mother not wanting her second child to be a girl or Her mother revealing this to the same unwanted girl child. It's okay to wish for a particular gender but it's not okay to let your child know this.
I can understand what she is saying, I think it happens to every mother with their second or third child. I have a elder brother and a younger sister but when mom was pregnant with my younger sister, my parents and all the relatives were expecting another babyboy in the family and everyone was so confident and sure it will be a boy only but then unexpectedly my sister was born , my mom literally said that nobody was really happy or excited including my mother, they were not upset but just normal, but after 3-4 years she is the most loved and pampered one in the family.
So I think whatever she is saying is normal sometimes .

Sabki alag soch hoti hai, mera ek bada bhai hai aur woh jab 1 saal ka tha tab my mom got to know that she is expecting and my parents didn’t want another child(not atleast for my brother to turn 3-4 years), so my mom went to the doctor for abortion, and the doctor told them that it’s a girl(me). And then my parents changed their decision of abortion, they were so happy that god had blessed them with a daughter, they were like, when we will want to have a daughter after 3-4 years, what if it would be a son, and they decided not to go for abortion and my mom told me that my dad was so happy the day I was born, he considered himself the happiest person in the world on the day of my birth♥️
