My Mom had passed away in the fall of '93. I first heard this song in '95 on the radio where I worked. I just started to cry right there. Even to this day, when I listen to this song, I remember the good times with my "best friend". Thank you, Jann.

Jann, I'm 51 now and I reconnect with this song at least once a year. I fell in love with it when it was new but it grows with me, and thankfully my parents, as we age. I relate it more ever year. My 2 friends and I saw Jann in concert just last Saturday, May 21, at the Leon's Centre in Kingston. Fantastic concert. She sings so beautifully. Bought a t-shirt before I left, and saw Jann leaving the building after. Got a couple photos of her. She even talked to a couple people outside the fence. Genuine nice person.

I've just finished reading Jann's book 'IF I KNEW THEN' (2020) which is laugh-out-loud funny, heartwarming, and inspiring -and very much like my life (and probably yours) growing up. It's amazing to see someone FAMOUS come from a very similar, basic childhood LOL. Jann is such an inspiration, and coming up to her 60th birthday she is wiser, of course, than ever and generous to share her humour and wisdom with us in her books.
