  • Metamorphosis: the magical transformation of femininity. Extreme nature: the delicate, emergent beauty of butterflies and moths; the opalescent shine of softly-armoured Scarab beetles. Hybrids: the morphing of one creature into another, one garment into another. A hyper-real world is magnified and populated by a sensual and powerful muse. A verdant future, a sense of pride, joy and optimism prevails. A Utopian evolution, paradise found.

So beautiful, this gradual evolution of design that comes from house McQueen. Every show pays homage to the brand's namesake, almost like a love letter while delivering us something so unique and beautiful. Sarah you are a queen.

So incredibly crafted and beautiful... I’ve watched it three times now with pleasure, but many of the recycled silhouettes are a bit almost ‘expected’ at this point. Lovely as usual, however 💓

This show somehow resembles Plato's Atlantis collection, SS 2010 by reading the description of the inspiration and watching how the clothes transform and evolve as each model walks, the symmetrical prints are with no doubt inspiring and faithful to McQueen's legacy , we all know he has always been inspired by nature in so many ways. The tailoring and the fitting are as always perfect. This is where I can sense Sarah Burton really wanted to take a risk but I still feel she is a little bit shy on her designs, anyways, she is doing it great I know for sure, I don't know if someone else could to the job like she is doing it right know, also I miss the drama and theatrical shows from when McQueen was alive. could we see some of that in the future?
Personally this is one of Sarah's best collections.

Sarah has improved her style but sometimes like I was watching an average runway (which is exactly the opposite of what an Alexander McQueen's runway should be), some designs I did like, but some others, I wondered if I had mistaken the video and was watching a runway from Comme des garçons.

Lee himself was a great story teller, however Sarah is only a great dress maker. It's how much heart and soul you express through works.

Нет в ней той божьей искры, что была в Александре...
С надеждой жду от неё хоть чего-то немного похожего на то что делал Александр, но увы...Она хороший ремесленник и не больше.

What happened to Alexander McQueen? What has become of such wonderful creations? His models used to have a smile on their bright faces and their hairstyles first. And today? Is it obviously of advantage if a model is ugly? It's not more so nice to look at this.
