Wow Daniel, I'm loving exploring your channel.....all these Gouldian gems you have!!! A veritable treasure trove! I'm massive a GG disciple! Best musical wishes, Louise
There are a few on this channel, Daniel Poulin was an acquaintance of Gould and had connections with his friends. Here is another recent rarity: th-cam.com/video/v5NbM2Rsigg/w-d-xo.html
I cant believe this is Gould, the pedaling, the ornaments, the rhythm marking doesn’t sound like him at all… and the most telling part is theres no singing
Damn he was just fifteen when he recorded this….I’m speechless
I have never been so moved by Scarlatti as I have been by Glenn's Scarlatti..... xoxoxo
Grazie, una vera delizia ascoltare Glenn Gould!

One word...BEAUTIFUL.
My god first time I hear Gould playing Scarlatti!
For those who want to identify them further the b minor sonata is K 27, and the f minor K.519

@@charlotterose6724 Thanks alot!
Sorry to ask but...how do you know for sure it is Gould? (Looks like him, of course - the younger version of him to be precise).
erm, provenance?

Bro you must be related to Gould. How else could you get these things?
All of these recordings (and many more) are available from the National Library and Archives of Canada in Ottawa
@@jeffreybetz5542 Not easily available, unfortunately. I've tried
Well, Glenn’s love for Bach and Scarlatti (maybe just Bach) started young and never Baroque. He would always come Bach to music from that era.
