That was really cool ~ Thanks for sharing! I used to jump off the Bass River Bridge in Cape Cod, MASS. when I was your age and this task reminds me of it. You all did a great job and keep up the good work if you are still lifeguarding. :-)
I love this video!! So fun to watch! I’m a lifeguard at the YMCA here in LA, but I really want to become a beach lifeguard. What’s the best way to stay in shape as a beach lifeguard, and what are some swimming workouts I can do to get me prepared to do what you guys do?
3 reasons why I would not do it 1.) there are sharks and you never know when they can come and get u 2.) I cant swim that good and the water is very scary I can only swim in pools 3.) I cant hold my breath underwater very long.
If you are talking about the jumping part.. 1.) I'm not from America but I don't imagine the Sharks would be that close to shore. 2.) If you can swim in a pool you can swim in the sea. At least in the conditions that these guys were jumping into. It's all state of mind and learning to ignore that there is a depth difference. 3.) Jumping from that height you're not going to go any further than 8-9 feet. Some of those guys touched the bottom. Point is you don't need to be good at swimming or even mighty brave to jump off of that. Just a case of believing in your ability to land straight and once you've done it once you can do it again and from even higher, I'm sure you could it aswell :)
My preferred high quality polarized brands would be Ray Bans or Oakley (tend to be over $100). If you don't want to spend that much or are just looking for a temporary replacement, northshoreoutlet has a great product review page of polarized sunglasses that are under $25 here: tinyurl.com/ya7fwbh3

Tip: thin may sound disgusting but if you put saliva on you lens it should stop any drops of water sticking on.

Burnz9 if you drop from a high place with fins on it will break your ankle
Quick question for anyone why do they have to jump off a pier
Hey there, Its because there's actually a tower on the pier so if someone starts drowning below us it's important to know how to safely get to them

the water salt water in the ocean which makes you float. It should be easier to swim in the ocean compared to pool. Maybe its the waves
