Thank you so much. I needed this. I have been struggling with severe depression and anxiety the last few years and have gotten off track of my goals. This inspires me to get to work and start working on me again. Thank you for using your talents that the Lord has blessed you with to help someone like me out. You are appreciated more than you know.
I appreciate how you walked us through the entire process and further reinforced the importance of having a habit to help you achieve a goal. Thank you, Alaina!
Thank you for posting this video. I love planning and setting goals but not achieving many that can be considered tangible. It is more helping others achieve their goals but feeling like I am not achieving mine. My biggest problem is that I set way too many goals. It is so refreshing to hear you say that you are focusing on 4 main goals and the rest are secondary even though they will still be worked on. I have to learn to just focus on 4 main goals. I also really loved the way you attached a HABIT to a GOAL. I really never thought about habits to get you to goals. Thank you for your wisdom. I bought several Happy Planners and I am setting them up. I also bought one Big Hourly Planner for my daughter who is 19 and in college. She was so excited and set it up and decorated it with Disney stickers. We did the activity together as we set up both our planners and it was a really nice evening of bonding and laughing.
Thank you for the goal ideas! My goals are wellness including walking, drinking water, reading Bible verses, and spending time in nature! I love watching goal videos here on TH-cam like from PlanwithLaken, Sheila Joy, Shay Budgets, and Beverly Lina! I think it would be fun if you did a goal collab or live with one of these channels!
What a great video! This is something I’ve always struggled with, and I’m excited to set up my own goals! One of my favorite tips that you shared was when you said you’re more likely to follow through on working out if you pick specific days. That makes so much sense! Thank you very much!
Your Videos are so inspireing and helpful. Thank you for that. This weekend is a free one and I will sit and start goalsetting and planning for me in 2023. Greetings from Germany 🙋♀️
Thank you for the walk thru!! one of my hardest thing is setting up too drastic of goals. & ultimitely failing, Tagging a habit to the goal has helped so much in reminding me of my goals and adjusting the expectation to do MY best. Not others best. It has been a game changer for me.
Such good advise. I appreciate the simple but attainable approach to just write down the goal for the month. I have so many but for this month, I am observing lent and have goals for bible study and prayer and self care.
Thank you so much for this video! I set up annual/monthly goals, but I've never considered the habits I'd put into place to accomplish the monthly goals. I typically write my goals in my bullet journal and on a dry erase board, but now that I also have a separate Happy Planner that I'm using as an all-encompassing notebook (not quite a commonplace notebook but similar), I'm also going to keep track of my goals there just so I can see my progress as the year goes on. A goal that I have for the month of March is to finish two non-fiction books that I started last month: "The Joy of Less" (which I LOVE!) and "Digital Minimalism" by Cal Newton. I couldn't find his other book you'd recommended in a previous class at the library, but I found the aforementioned title and the psychology behind our use of social media is SO fascinating! As always Alaina I truly appreciate your knowledge and expertise. Happy March!
Thank you for this video! I tend to plan out my goals in 12-week timelines, but the same principles apply. And having habits attached to the goals is a perfect way to reach those goals!!
I love all your videos, so helpful. I am wondering if you can make a video on all the different types of journals/ diaries to keep as i have heaps and don't know what to do with them. Thanks for being so inspirational.
5 books a month😳 the slow reader in me is gasping hahaha. This video was really valuable. I love how you wrote the goals and then underneath the habit. It reminds me of atomic habits goals vs systems. Thank you:)
Hi Alaina! Is there a video on your notebook set up or flip through? Love this idea of keeping a book for notes/reading/goals and using that with my planner!
Thank you so much mam, This video is halp full for me because I not understand how to create monthly goal in action plan and this video is helping me...❤️
Hi! My goal is to become a chaplain this year. And to keep studying until I get my PhD. My habit is to read everything assigned (and not assigned) about a subject and take notes. The 45 minutes that you spoke about in the video is a great idea. Now, I have a question for you. My main goal is to establish a ministry ( not a church, a ministry). Since you achieved your goal of establishing a church (CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!) Have you thought of creating a planner for those of us that want to start a non-profit? That would be such a help and blessing. (There is none in the market, I looked for it. Nothing.) Tia.
Hi Theresa, I operate 3 Non-Profits and am a Realtor. I've had to create my own planner. You may need to create exactly what you need to keep you organized and functional.
Hi, Alaina, thanks for the process! I have trouble breaking my annual goals down into quarterly and monthly goals, though weekly and daily are no problem. Do you have a video on how to break down annual goals into 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th quarter and monthly from there? Thanks again, love you channel, so glad I found you!
This made me realize why my goal of writing 5 chapters one month failed...I never tried to make a habit. :O I make habits for everything even my art, not sure why it took so long to realize writing needs a habit too. I love writing, didn't think I needed to actively think about like I do for making comic updates. I'm gonna start setting aside pages in my catch all notebook to do this every month! ^^
I was stuck on your reading goal of 5 books. I can barely get through 1 lol. Setting time aside to read each day is a great idea. My issue is having so many and trying to do them all at once which ends up being overwhelming
You did a goals video a couple months ago and earlier you did quarterly goal planning … where did you get the 4 goals for this video? They seem random.
I love your videos but really struggled to watch this one as I found the background music really distracting. Just wanted to pass on my feedback in case you were planning on making all your future videos like this. Love your content though!!

You got this girl ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Greatest stuff reside here..... watching you from Zambia.
This makes me want to cry!! Ima keep praying to get myself organized like this. Thank you for posting.
You've got this, Lena! It does take practice to set/achieve goals, and there will be bumps along the way, but I promise the journey is SO WORTH IT!
Yes Lena, I agree with Write with Melanie, you can do it. Take your time, take small steps, practice and give yourself grace. You can do it!

So refreshing to get a reminder to attach goals to habits to keep your focus
Thanks for this very important stuff you shared, May the Lord God bless you more always!
Love this video! I just setup my monthly goals for July. I now feel accountable for my life. ❤️ GAME CHANGER.
Thank you so much. I do set up monthly goals but haven’t ever broken it into habits.
Would work on that. Thanks again

I love this. I normally do this but I have been slacking. Thanks for the motivation. One of my goals is fitness as well to start back running.
I have never done goals before but I want to start. Thank you for showing me how.
could you post a video or short explaining how the one on ones work, what we should bring with us to the meeting, etc.?
I am so inspired by this!! Keep doing what you’re doing! 😜

This is a good example.

Thank you so much for the share. Do you have a list of books you are reading for March 2022?
You made this look so simple! Thank you

I’m gonna try this method
Great set up! Thanks for sharing!

Sereen from Kuwait 🇰🇼
Thank you!
👍🏻 great tips
I haven't heard what our next book is. Have you discussed Atomic Habits yet? If so I must have missed it.
I didn't mean Atomic Habits, I meant the Joy of Less!
You did a goals video a couple months ago and earlier you did quarterly goal planning … where did you get the 4 goals for this video? They seem random.

what brand of notebook and planner are you using?
Hey. I created them and sell them on my Etsy. www.etsy.com/listing/1236122766/personalized-notebook
Btw, I am an RRCA run coach and can give you tips on that 5k goal 😉

I watched this video and didn’t hear any background music. Maybe you had something else playing with this video.
@@melissapope5323 nope, just listened to it again, and definitely has background music.
