      Yep. When he was Interviewed by Oprah Spike Lee told Danny Aiello (Best Supporting Actor Nominee Do The Right Thing) "You're Not Going To Win". After seeing Denzel do that One Tear Cry in Glory that was it. I was beside myself trying to figure out why Cheryl's One Tear Cry was so familiar.

      I prefer to know her Cheryl Tweedy. Tweedy is a cutie surname the Cole.

    I love, love, love Cheryl! She's so sweet! Yes, she does look like a younger Shania Twain. Cheryl's 20 years younger than Shania so fair enough to say she's more beautiful. However, Shania was definitely a stunner in her 20's too!

    I saw an article about the Group Phixx (The Guys who weren't chosen to be in One True Voice) one of which was Nikk who first met Cheryl when she auditioned for Girls Aloud. She's a popular Popstar in a Multi Million Selling Girl Group and he's trying to chase his dream. Can you imagine how surreal it must have been for them both.

    RIP Aretha Franklin, for being an inspiration all over the world especially in the UK where you are revered. Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, & Sir Rod Stewart along with Eric Clapton, Ron Wood, Keith Richards, Annie Lennox, and George Michael all loved you, respected you and admired you. Her last Concert Performance was for Elton John's AIDS Fundraiser which I know he appreciated immensely.

    I think that this Show was good for Kimberley and Cheryl because they got to see what Pete Waterman, Geri Halliwell, & Louis Walsh went through as Judges. It's not easy at all especially if you feel that you are destroying a dream and someone's spirit. I think that the contestants had a lot of respect for Kimberley and Cheryl because they could identify with the audition process since they were in their Shoes Eight Years ago at that time. I would love for Nicola or even Nadine to be Coaches on The Voice. I remember watching New Edition's Video for "If It Isn't Love" and their "Manager" Jamie Foxx (Future Oscar Winner) said it best when he said "How You Look In Rehearsal Will Show How You Will Look On Stage." He was so right on.

    Looking back you know who would have been a excellent Judge. Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of TLC. She's been there done that and she knows only too well what it's like to audition.

      I had no idea that her Mom was in Soul To Soul back in the day. What I really admired was that she didn't really play that "Card" and that was very admirable. David Osmond (Alan's Son) auditioned or American Idol but he left the competition and became a Christian Pop Singer who like his Father has MS. Even Raymond Queen who came in Second Place to Leona Lewis didn't play the "I was a Soap Opera" back in the day.

    You know that this also reminds me of Julianne Moore The Actress. Although she's a successful Actress of this generation like Cate Blanchett, she got her Start on The US Soap Opera As the World Turns that was broadcasted from 1956-2010. She played Sisters/Cousins Frannie Hughes and Sabrina Fullerton (who did an amazing British Accent). She's on the Show from 1983-1986 and wins Awards including The Oscar. When As The World Turns was about to be cancelled in 2010 she made a Guest Appearance on The Show and although her "TV Father & Stepmother" were thrilled to see her, her TV Siblings Tom (A Lawyer) & Chris (A Doctor), felt awkward and who can blame them. She is a Superstar and they are about to be out of a Job. Scott Holmes who played Tom is now Retired in South Carolina while Daniel Cosgrove (Chris) holds the distinction on being on Three Cancelled Soaps. As The World Turns, Guiding Light, and All My Children.

    I heard Cheryl was hysterical when she found out about Sarah's condition which apparently has gotten worse. Please pray for her. It would be a shame if it took her Death for the others to make peace.

    The Blond Haired girl who faltered pretty much shot herself in the foot. You must "always" be prepared.

      Yes but no matter how good you are, if you don't have that "thing", you sometimes don't go far. Cheryl may not have the best voice but she was a Diamond In The Rough and look what's happened to her in the past 16 Years.

      Having a good voice counts for nothing if you have a crap attitude. I don’t know why so many people can’t understand this.

    • @jaspis16
      @jaspis16 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Spudchucker92 because these days what counts it's not talent , good music, song and lyrics. It's who has less clothes on stage and who is twerking better and who is more controversial. That's the fact how low people have fallen

    Girl #1 wasn't good at all and she wasn't "prepared". The Song she chose wasn't all that good. I could have seen her sing "Do You Know Where You're Going To" by Diana Ross in Mahogany. She sounded like she was Drunk at Karaoke Night. The others were good but they didn't have that thing while Alexandra "owned" Listen from Dreamgirls. What Kimberley & Cheryl may not have realized is that "Listen" is from a Play that every African American Diva Wannabe/Nevergonnabe dreams of doing and it was one of the very few plays that showed Black Women in non subserviant roles. Also when "You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman" was performed, she paid hommage not only to Aretha Franklin but to Carole King who was next to Ellie Greenwich (RIP) and Cynthia Weil one of the first Female Songwriters of The Rock Era. Before Diane Warren came along they were the Female Tops in their league.

      Laminage I told you once and I repeat it now that I have seen your comment. Write a book, I think you have too many interesting things that can help you to know the real music: the Motownla Sound music from the 60s onwards and the anecdotes of its performers.

      @@torreugenia80 I have read my share of Books about Motown and the like. What I love about The UK in terms of the Music Business is that it is still very supportive on American R & B Performers. As you know a lot of a R & B Songs are covered by Boy Band/Girl Group Icons.
