Used to love this game 20 years ago! I think the Pacific and Desert campaigns were first - Caen was a later add-on. In the Pacific, everybody wanted to fly the planes, so I heroically played as an Engineer, fixing the carriers - no-one else would do it! Do remember Caen though - I recall whizzing round in a little scout car a lot of the time. Frantically typing 'hold the line, hold the line!'.
@@crash42modder63 A tempting suggestion! I think I still have the original CD somewhere, but I'd probably be better off getting an updated version that runs on modern OS. I think GOG is good for that sort of thing - have to check it out.
@@crash42modder63 oh - i didn't get the kill on that one. but from my understanding, the reg patch doesn't fix any leading when you're shooting at vehicles (only infantry). generally, the faster someone is going in a vehicle, the more lead you should give where you're shooting. i definitely shoot blank spaces way out in front of jeeps in order to hit the drivers.
