    I like this frame- it's the only folding bike that doesn't look completely goofy. But I would replace every other component to beef it up!

    Doesn't the bottle holder interfere with your frame/bag/steering in that position? Wouldn't it be better mounted on the front of the handlebars?

      You're are absolutely correct. After the video, I did move it to the handlebars 👍.

    • @daprince27studio
      @daprince27studio  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The bike is of good quality, and it also depends on how you plan to use it. It is not a true mountain bike, but it's a nice bike to ride on regular road surfaces.

    For people with smaller cars, thinking this is the solution....it will not fit in the trunk of a Civic. The handlebars cannot be maneuvered with the wheels in order for it to fit

    Steel pedal, good choice. If you have time swap the crank, for a beefier tough heavy duty crank. The original one looks like for normal use. And better brakes.

    It's been around 11 months. Is the bike working properly? Numerous bicycle experts recommended not to purchase this bicycle for long term purposes, is it true?

    • @daprince27studio
      @daprince27studio  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm a casual biker, I typically ride on flat paved surfaces. So the bike is as good as when I bought it last year. It depends on how you plan to use it.

      I wouldn't, and wish I would've read more reviews first. This thing fell apart on me while riding on the street going down hill. The quick lock wheel latch came loose twice...unsafe garbage

    • @daprince27studio

      It's just like any other bike, just a little bit heavier. Even if you are a beginner, you should be fine. Assembly depends on experience, but doable.

    Thanks for the video. I have the same bike and I saw a lot of these bikes on amazon too for difference prices. Just wondering where can you get replacement parts for the locking clip? As the locking clip wasn't connected on my bike, but I figured it out today. Tomorrow I'm taking it out for a ride.

    • @radiocontrolled9181
      @radiocontrolled9181 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Top speed - do you mean top speed on smooth flat ground? I would say between 20 and 25 MPH if you are strong and fit enough to paddle up to that speed and keep up with the high cadence in the hardest gear. Top speed going down a long smooth and steep hill without pedaling can be much higher than that obviously. Gravity will speed you up without the need of even pedaling. But then don't forget that you have to brake and come to a stop! 😂😂

    kind of want to buy a very similar bike (looks same but different random brand), my main issue, however, is the lack of space in the apartment. Do you think its worth it? Does seem quite cheap in general, looks seem fine also, but I heard the locking mechanism can come loose. Do you think it would be good for a daily commute to work on light dirt roads and weekend trips further away?

    • @daprince27studio
      @daprince27studio  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I personally, have not had any significant problem with my bike, but I have heard others have. It does fold, but otherwise it's the same footprint as any other similar bike if you are looking to keep it in your apartment. It's not the best built quality, but if you are using it like a casual biker without the extreme off-roading, you should be fine. I hope that helps.

      Mine practically fell apart the first time out on a mountain, two flats, handle bar got loose, I almost ate dirt. Im upgrading the tires and will give it a second chance, but a bike shop told me these are basically for roads and very light dirt roads, not a mountain bike by any means

      @@nelsonmolina1846 ah I sold it after a month, its quite slow in general, but did ride ok, brakes were good. Also heavy... that might be one of the main reasons - weight.
