Got a chance to meet Jake, not at a concert but at the Long Branch Saloon in Vero Beach Florida. Every now and then he pops in with his brother and is a normal guy, not conceited in any way shape or form. And I played football at the school in the video, cool to see it!
❤ Jake Owen finally saw him in concert in PA for his down to the tiki tonk tour last Friday. He was amazing. my 1st jake owen concert too & the best concert hands down that I've been too. He seems very chill & laid back. Someone you could just hang out & grab a beer with. Very down to earth & normal for a celebrity which is awesome. I loved how he talked to his fans during the performance too & also asked what they wanted to hear etc. It was sad to hear him talk about the tornado in Tennessee bc I didn't know about it. I don't watch TV bc I have no time for it. But occasionally look @ sm & didnt see anything about it. So it was a shock to me when I heard & I hope everyones ok. This was my 1st night out in over 2 yrs. I worked full time in nursing & took care of my grandma w/ Alzheimers for a yr on my wknds off. So I constantly wrkd 6 days a wk. Then she moved into a home & I got another job pt time @ the home I worked for for about another 6 mo. needed the $ Found out I was pregnant & still wrkd like crazy then had my son & became a SAHM to be able to raise him. So my hubby was so sweet & got me 2 tickets for my mom & I to go to the concert so I can have a mommy night 🥰 my early mothers day gift. I also enjoyed my 1st beer in a yr since I had my son & ❤ every sip. Great mommy night off & great music. Wonderful evening.

Another Memory. I knew I had been played by Pastor Matthew. I was in the WPC, so hurt and angry that at my weakest worse moments o f my life. I was asked to lead 6 Ministries within months of Dean leaving. I was struck with a sharp pain through my mouth, root of a tooth, probably my eye teeth. This pain drove me to crumble to my knees. My Father screamed in my ear…MERCY……Mercy must triumph over righteous judgements…..I said YES….Yhe pain lingered for several hours, but in those hours I cried repeatedly MERCY…..eventually my bared teeth with a curled lip relaxed….I knew I had to be free from a root of bitterness. I once asked HOD what heals a root of bitterness….He winked in pink over Scarlet lips…….LOVE…..that day I overcame…..free from the shit old life was shoving in my face….

I remember listening to this song when I was 12. I was living in Somalia at the time and it was Ramadan and it was couple hours after we broke our fast and we all decided to sleep outside in our courtyard (a wall surrounding a house. Majority of houses in Somalia have a courtyard) and while everyone else was sleeping i was just laying on the ground looking up at the stars, listening to this song. It was definitely one of the best memories I had when i lived there:)

I remember listening to this song when I was 12. I was living in Somalia at the time and it was Ramadan and it was couple hours after we broke our fast and we all decided to sleep outside in our courtyard (a wall surrounding a house. Majority of houses in Somalia have a courtyard) and while everyone else was sleeping i was just laying on the ground looking up at the stars, listening to this song. It was definitely one of the best memories I had when i lived there:)
This is a good song to play in my jeep with the top and doors off, cruising along the coast :) bring on summer!
