Ok so season three is here and I have watched the entire thing. It took me the entire season and a few hours afterwards to realise that Larry was gone

I think he was important to the story line, so he wasn't necessarily a useless character. But since he and Piper have broken up, he should've just disappeared, not start a relationship with her best friend. I hate him, but I don't think he was useless.
I wouldn't miss Larry if he were to exit the show... Side note these two are really funny!!! Solid interview

Larry is one of my favorite characters, think i must be the only one who thinks that. Glad he's not with alex, I wouldn't be able to forgive someone who cheated on me on an emotional level; that would actually destroy me.
Let's all just be honest as great as orange was Piper and Alex made it the show it was

I don't really understand the intensity of the fan hatred for Larry; he didn't really do anything that bad, particularly not compared to a lot of the characters on the show, who are still loved anyway. He mined his fiancée's situation to get published, but then again, it hadn't been his idea, and he somewhat had Piper's blessing. He lied about Alex naming Piper, but he did so because he thought it would stop Piper obsessing about her. He had an affair with Polly, but he was broken up with Piper, who had cheated on him, and he did tell her- that was more of a betrayal of Pete than Piper. Bottom line is, Larry's fuckups all fall under relatable human parameters with motives that are easy to comprehend- everyone can understand being desperate for a job, feeling threatened by someone else in your partner's life, developing feelings for the person who was there for you most during a tough time. Most of the characters on the show have done things far worse than that, which had much more destructive effects on other people's lives. Larry is at worst just kind of annoying.
I love Laura oh my gahd. I am sooo gay now. And I have to watch that 70s show, but it's not that I don't like that show. It's a good series too but she was all the reason why I watched it initially. I'm really gay for her. 😭😭😭

i don't understand why larry is so hated. what guy would stay by his fiance going to jail like he did? she cheated on him and felt entitled to do it because she was lonely. i didn't like his attitude towards her in the end of season 2 but before that he was a decent guy and piper deserved everything she got in the end.

I don't not like Larry, but I do think its wrong for him to start dating Piper's best friend while she's in prison. And I think its wrong that Polly is dating her best friends fiancé, while she still has a newborn baby. And that she just dumped her other husband like that. I've been in that situation that piper is in ( not in prison) and it hurts, a lot. It's extremely depressing

I'm in that minority with you, somewhat. I never really liked Alex as person (as a character on the show, I do) and do NOT want Piper to get back with her, again. I like Piper though, especially seeing how she's growing and developing each season.
