So I have watched most of your vlogs reciently. Good job you sure are dedicated to your flock. I hop when you can you cull out the repeat trouble ones so you have a better lambing season.
When my back hurts (ya, getting old sucks!) I lay on the (hard) floor and put my legs up on a chair at 90 degrees. This will let your back settle down towards the floor. After a good stretch, turn both legs (still at 90 degrees) to one side and hold the stretch. Then do the other side. This really helps! Please update us if you find out why you have sooo many multiples. That's just crazy! And they are smaller too because there are so many as opposed to singles or doubles right?
The mulitples I believe are a combination of a couple big things. The breed itself has potential for mulitples, and the nutrition plays a big role. Also, because I give PMSG when I pull the CIDRS, they can super-ovulate. Likely for in-season breeding, I could reduce the amount used.
This literally JUST HAPPENED!! So frustrating. Tagged a set of quints so I could let them out of the claiming pen, went back to let them out, and she laid on it! AGHHHH!!!

Sandi, why don’t you put all the ewes that are close to lambing in separate claiming pens so there is no confusion to which lamb is which ewes
