Yea I find the chest strap to work great. I have seen people use the head strap but I don’t have the confidence for that yet lol plus with the chest strap I can easily start recording when I’m approaching obstacles and other times.
Not sure. Have always seen plenty of people out there using it. Just tried finding a rule against it on Spartans website and anywhere else online and can’t see anything that says I can’t use it. These are volunteers in most cases and maybe one gave you the wrong information. If you can show me somewhere it says I can’t tho I’d love to know. I race with the rules so if it’s not allowed in a spartan I would really like to know
@@ByondTheNorm Ahh, it looks like they changed the rule on it. The previous version of the rule book stated that no “chalk” was allowed, but the 2022 version stated no “non-liquid” chalk is allowed, which implies that liquid chalk is allowed. Also, it was in December of 2021 when I reach out to Spartan by email when then told me liquid chalk wasn’t allowed so it appears that it has since been amended and deemed legal. I’m glad I know this now. You’re in the right brother. 👍

@@ByondTheNorm nice! I'll have to try it. I've been using a mouth guard mount. It's a bit unconventional, but it's been working so far.
Interesting. I was told by Spartan that you couldn’t use liquid chalk. 🤔
