flowering vines was always my favorite song from you and it sounds lovely live.Your voice sounds just like my grandmas that’s why i’ve always loved your music
Flowering Vines remains my favourite song of yours. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the first I ever heard, but it was the one that blew me away and made me think "*this* is the music I need right now, i want more of this!" I remember in another video you mention it's about hedonism among anarchists. I can see that, but originally the song painted pictures of some gloomy fantasy world in my mind. Lots of your songs do! While at the same time drawing attention to very real and important problems of our own world. That's one reason why I love your music, it's... sort of like punk only it sounds beautiful? That could probably be worded better.
I absolutely love that you see fantasy worlds in my songs' settings. One of my biggest goals is to write songs that can fit in fictional worlds -- and in some ways we can be freer to tell the truth if it's more metaphorical than literal. I am an anarchist but grew up with classical (and pop and goth) music so that description of my music pleases me greatly.
