It doesn't matter people are gonna see what they wanna see. They see a colored officer like hondo shot someone they will say he did nothing wrong. It is how it is when your a black man wearing the badge apart of the job. This is staged but the reality this type of thing does happen.
Hondo is really going through it now. Losing over half his squad to them moving on, having his own neighborhood turn on him over a justified shooting, etc
This guy was literaly armed he drop it as soon as Hondo shot him come on man and this the type of stuff to happen in real life im not saying all cops are justified by shooting and killing but when you have a suspect that turns and looks like he drawing for something you always have to be careful.
Ik adrenaline is pumping and all but you can SEE the gun fall out of his hands, HEAR the gun hit the ground, plus at this point Hondo is an ICON to the South side (his neighborhood) and the LAST DUDE to shoot someone unarmed and if he did he'd be rhe first to turn in his badge. THIS IS THE COP THAT THREW LAPD UNDER THE BUS BECAUSE OF RACIST COPS
Doesn't Hondo wear a body cam ? If they go to court, the only thing they needed is to pull up his body cam and see that the criminal did draw the gun. Would be interesting if for the final episode, we found out that one of the civilians in the park took the gun. or Maybe after viewing the footage, you can see one of the civs in the background taking the gun.
Naw he had a gun, he threw it when he got shot!!he did that on purpose to go to the BB court so they all can see, it made it seem like he didn’t have it, but it’s obvious the guns on the floor lol, that his gun
Agreed. Even when it's clear the guy had a gun, the guy ignores it and continues his ranting. What if things played out differently and someone gets shot? Still defending him??
To all the idiots saying he chucked/threw the gun before being shot, he did NOT. you can CLEARLY see he drops it just after being shot. he had it in his hands up until then. Therefore, Hondo justifiably shot him.
"HE WAS RUNNIN AWAY FROM YALL😢" Nah. I think you're crying like a little baby because you wanted to start the next big riot, but since the gun was found, it won't happen
This episode made me feel so bad for Hondo. He tries so hard to mend relationships between the police and black neighborhoods… and all these people do… as run him down and call him a sellout.
EMT here. Legally speaking we have a duty to act when we are on duty, even if it's a criminal. And ethically speaking it's not up to us to decide whether the patient deserves to live or die, only to treat them as best we can.
"He was running away from ya!"
Oh, that's right. I forgot only innocent people run from the cops.
He did have a gun he chucked it
Dw he has a body cam on
We all heard the gun clatter to the floor
2:12 he dropped the gun you can see
We all saw
The crowd was acting like the dude was innocent🤣u can literally see the gun on the ground and I saw him throw it🤣
Yea exactly
Especially with the lady cop saying out loud that he kidnapped 2 kids
IKR
Nowadays everyone will blame police for everything @@jaycrafter3051

Exactly, if unreasonable to expect the cop not fire. If the cop had been a second, he might be the one getting shot instead.
Dude's final act before going away to prison was making himself into the victim and hero, while making Hondo into the villain in his own neighborhood.
Bro the gun was literally right there lol
"You shot unarmed man!" Lady cop with flash light comes over and announces his gun and that he kidnapped 2 kids "you shot your own people man!!"
"Unarmed man" lol

Love how the dude went from fearing for his life to being upset Hondo took the suspect down who still had the gun when Hondo shot at him
To all the idiots saying he chucked/threw the gun before being shot, he did NOT. you can CLEARLY see he drops it just after being shot. he had it in his hands up until then. Therefore, Hondo justifiably shot him.
This was so dumb. I know they heard the gun hit the ground loud as hell.
He had the gun in his hand when hondo shot him then he dropped it
Exactly!!! everyone else saying he dropped it/tossed it, are either very f**king stupid, or are too blind to notice details
God i hate scenes like that with the stupid people
Where was his backup this whole time ??
They didn't arrive in time
"HE WAS RUNNIN AWAY FROM YALL😢"
Nah. I think you're crying like a little baby because you wanted to start the next big riot, but since the gun was found, it won't happen
Hondo is one hell of a wheelman.
If anything happens to Hondo on SWAT I'm through with SWAT
"He wa rannin away from yo ma, can't trust nanyall, can't bilie dis mayn"
What season and episode was this
Is it kinda similar of buck situation at the beginning of series? Poor things must happen to 20 squad leader
Thats the same thing I was thinking
No Buck actually shot a unarmed kid by mistake.
Not even close. Buck's video wasn't unarmed
@@jkrish4845 Buck's video? WTF were you attempting to say because whatever it was this makes zero sense.
@@amandabilger2235 I meant victim

The gun he had couldn't have bounced that far. It fell out of his left hand.
77 years 😂😂 0:15
The gun flew off right after Hondo shot the suspect.
He dropped the gun
it was the suspect i slowed the video down when the guy drop to the ground a gun went out of his hands
What the same thing that happened to buck now happened to hondo.
This is why bodycameras exist and mutiple people saw him toss it this is so stupid
He definitely had a gun their bud
"Unarmed" yet his gun literally fell from him
People are so stupid sometimes.😂
I don't like when this situation happen in the show or to hondo, black vs cop, the community etc etc
only unrealistic part was that hondo did not secure the weapon first
He couldn't find it dark and crowd people around him and it was under the bench he even asked where gun go
@@Awesomewolfpic did you not read my comment properly or did you not watch the video?
Why do paramedics help armed criminals? I have no idea…

7x12? doenst have 7 seasons. just 6
This is the 7th season and it is getting a season 8
wtf, i thought season 6 is the last one
Um definitely was armed, when he got shot, is when the gun flew out his hand. Horrible title for the video
The biggest enemy is always going to be your own race
💪👌👍❤
The acting is cringe
That's cause this is how people behave irl they love to blame cops for everything
This stuff does happen
