Fun fact: Zara’s death was brutal because it was the first death of woman for the franchise so they wanted to have fun with it. I know people were upset because they thought the filmmakers were against women but I didnt think that. It actually didn't bother me. The sequence was terrifying and that was the point.
What makes it more brutal is that specific character was gonna be having a wedding the next day
Not only that, but the actress actually asked for it to be as brutal as they could make it
Creator said women get the same treatment as the men.
she also requested for them to make it like this because it was fun for her since she was a stunt woman
@@austin-nya4430 And if I recall correctly, her character was supposed to have more screentime and she wasn't a very nice person to the kids. So her death was brutal because of her character's attitude. I'm also pretty sure in the original script there was supposed to be a scene where Claire gets a call from her and she's inside the Mosasaurus' stomach.

@@psylyps really? I always thought the T-Rex wiped out the family off screen after it eat their dog. Wait wait wait! So that whole sequence in The Lost World where T-Rex was rampaging through the city, not one victim was female?😵 I still feel sorry for Zara but hey, "when you gotta go..."
