LOVED the knife, spoon and fork one 😍😍 came out FANTASTIC!! I’ve been wanting to do something similar for soooo long now.. I saw Kelly Barlow over on KB Creations make something months ago with 8x10 picture frames and one utensil on the glass of each frame, STUNNING!! Idk this is giving that a run for its money, I’m a sucka for burlap!! Outstanding work per usual Heidi 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I could watch you craft allll day every day girl... you just got it like that 🤪 TRUST me!!!!
You always come up with the greatest ideas Heidi and you have a way of making me excited to try them as well. These DIYs are all fun but I especially love the EAT sign. I’ve been wanting to repurpose a rectangular decoration in my kitchen so I think I’ll be doing this. Just have to flip it over and sand the one I already have so I can “shiplap it”. Thanks for always being such an inspiring friend, not only in crafting but in life. You are always lifting up other DIYers, especially newer crafters, and I find that just to be so kind. I really enjoyed this video! Oh and I totally went with putting Heidi’s kitchen on my last sign! I didn’t find it silly at all! I thought it was super cute! 😂 J K. I don’t have it put together yet. I have my burlap cut and my utensils spray painted black. I can’t wait to finish it as well as the rest of the diys for the kitchen series. These are all the cutest projects! I so wish we were still living in a house we were renting two years ago. We loved that house! We had made it our home, it was so spacious, every room! The kitchen was amazing, and I had tons and tons of wall space there, but could never figure out what I wanted to decorate that room in. All of this would have been a perfect start! The owners were ready to be out from under it though and decided to sell. Unfortunately we were not in the position to purchase it at that time. It still makes me sad as we were all so happy there. We spent three and a half years there. It happens though, one day I’m believing we will own a home we love just as much! 😊 Thank you for all of the inspiration! Love alllll of these!! Thank you for always giving free printables!! Also if you paint mod podge on the foam core board before painting it it stops it from buckling and it makes it hard kind of like wood lol!!
Love your crafts. When I spray paint salt & pepper shaker lids I put toothpicks in each of the wholes. Not only does it prevent paint getting in the wholes put they also act as stands to raise the lids off your painting surface. And they look like little flying saucers while they dry lol. 😉

heidi, if folks are concerned about paint being toxic in the holes of the salt and pepper shakers, you could take some tooth picks cut them up into pieces and just stick them in the holes, then spray and remove the picks, they will keep any paint from getting inside the holes....it would be tedious, but worth it if you are concerned about toxic issues. love your channel am always giving a thumbs up and sharing on pinterest.. those salt and pepper shakers are stinking cute...

Foam core does not fare well in humid environments so expect this to board to buckle more. As another commenter said you should definitely paint both sides.

With the salt and pepper shakers what I did was put tape on the inside of the lid before painting... Stops the paint from getting into the holes 🥰

O love this. I can make this and hang in my camper. Light weight so dont have to worry it.
I use furniture scratch markers from the DOllar Tree to stain my small pieces of wood, (clothes pins, sticks.....).

Whenever foam board buckles from paint if you flip it over and paint the other side it'll prevent it from buckling.
