Mahashivratri 2018 in Mauritius

You can discover how Mahashivratri is perform in Mauritius each year. It is one of the greatest Hindu festivals in the honour of Lord Shiva.
There are days of works behind these beautiful Kawar that are use to bring at Ganga talao to take the holy water and bring it to the shivala in our neighbourhood, it is use to bath the Shivling.
In the video you will see many people going to Grand Bassin, some doing donation of food, a team leader explaining how was the preparation for the Festival and The honourable Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth bathing the Shivling.
