Kilo TT fixies are very popular as a first. Mashes and Skreams are great, though quite expensive. I reckon make a conversion as your first. Save some money while you figure out your style.

Those wide bars, have the potential to make any bike look like shit.

I'm also running 780 bars on my bike right now. A very splitting choice - some hate it, others love it
