  • Arslan is my international student from Pakistan, he has 3 years previous driving experience abroad and has undertaken 10 hours of driver training with myself in Birmingham. I conducted a mock test with him on the 25th Feb 2024, of which he failed. I have highlighted all driver faults committed both minor and major along with highlighting some positive aspects to his drive, in this video. Please watch till the end where I explain in more detail all his faults along with a copy of his DL25A (test report)
I sincerely hope this helps you in your journey of learning to drive. Please like share, follow for more content. Especially with anyone who potentially has a driving test coming up.
    Thanks for watching folks.......

To all those both learning to drive and already driving. Please comment on anything you've learnt from watching this mock test. This will also help other learners on their journey.
P.s. - only overtake a cyclist if it is safe to do so. Leaving enough space as if you're overtaking a car. In the above clip, my pupil did a grand job of holding back anticipating the cyclist may also turn.

For the first crossroad where he had to turn right, why was that marked as a fault? Was his positioning incorrect?

Basically, Arslan strayed the white markings on the floor.. Even though it was only a little bit. Had he gone too far out of them, it would have been marked as a serious positioning fault. As he could have caused an accident with a vehicle approaching opposite. I hope this answers your Q. 🛻✨️✔️

There's markings on the road, which my pupil strayed out of a little. It's a diagonal route that is marked with small white squares. Had he gone out even more, he could have hit the oncoming Vehicle also turning right opposite him.
