That’s why they draft prenups, to address these issues before marriage. As to knowing each other just a few weeks, it’s been six months or more since this was all filmed due to production and editing, so I’m sure he’s been vetted by now with Theresa and vice versa. Whether they exchanged financial affidavits is beyond me. A well drafted prenup worked brilliantly for Kevin Costner and it’ll work for them too.

The only problem I have is how he treated Leslie. She is so right, he lied, zero integrity. How do you tell someone how much you love them and that they are “the one” (and it sounds like he said a lot more off camera in the fantasy suite) and then turn around just hours later and change your mind?

Hollywood Reporter articles said that Gerry is not really a "restauranteur" but a maintenence man in a mental health center. Also read how he had a 3 year relationship with Carolyn, them sent her packing very roughly. He charged her $1000/month and split the food charge. What a guy!

I wish them good luck. I can't help but think back to when he found out about her success in her career, I saw how he suddenly was so interested. I am 65 and not even thinking in my most wildest of dreams will I ever get married again. I've had two, I gave so much of myself that I almost lost everything. I'm content to now just BE ME.

I think with Theresa he didn't want to tell her when the camera's were on, he hinted he had said it in the Fantasy Suite, I think he viewed his love for Theresa as sacred and he only wanted to share his first "I love you" with just the two of them.

I think (granted maybe too optimistically) that it wasn't necessarily the appeal of money/success that made him more interested in Teresa, but during that conversation I thought she showed a level of maturity and "settledness" that he was really searching for. She seemed like someone who was set in life and knew what she wanted, mature enough to think logically about finances, and serious about beginning a long-lasting relationship.
To me it seems like Gerry is the kind of guy that forms connections with people very easily (perhaps too easily). I think he genuinely felt deeply for all his final 3 women. With Teresa the connection seemed less immediate than the other two, but I think he saw in her something more long-lasting. Leslie seems more free spirited and less willing to mold her life to suit Gerry's-- which is not a bad thing at all. Some people would find that way more desirable. But I don't think her outlook on life is what he was looking for.
Also not to mention both of them having lost their spouses. I think he felt like it was easier to "move on" with someone who's been through something similar. Teresa will be able to fully understand his grief.
Leslie was not right, she has been divorced twice, during the talent show her talent was a dirty dance that came very close to a lap dance, that leaves so much to be desired from a 64 years old woman.
She looks wore out and she had the audacity to say “I am never the one chosen”! Really??? She had to previous marriages, either she was unable to keep her husbands or, she has poor judgement and attract losers.

Gerry lost my respect in this one. Strike #1: He said "Nowhere Indiana" (I'm from Indiana, and it is a great place to live), Strike #2, He made it sound like he wasn't going to choose her, and you could see her reaction to that, and Strike #3, he did not put the ring on her finger.

WOW! I missed the show because I was on the road traveling yesterday. It is early in the morning right now, and I have so many tears in my eyes already. Tears of happiness. They got me crying. I was really hoping it would be the blond beautiful woman..Joan I think. He really liked her a lot but sadly she had to leave the show. The one thing I found funny was the lady in tge jogging suit on the first episode falling asleep on the couch. 😂. I'm so glad he found love. He seems like a genuine, kind and warm person. I think they will both make each other happy. I'm 61..thought my "best days" were behind me. Now, this just gives me hope for the future. Then the next date with Theresa he basically acts like he doesnt want to be there, hes not even engaging with her presence and keeps talking about Leslie while he is off cameraand how he doesnt know if its going anywhere with Theresa but its worth a shot, might as well give it a go.. So how does one flip in a matter of hours being head over heels for someone that they said they are in love with to basically going with the other woman that he acted like wasnt going anywhere? Its truly baffling.
Because he found out she has money that's why you need to really watch it and listen to what they say🎉

Hmmm...Leslie as woman of substance? She was an emotionally unstable mess whining and complaining throughout, very rough around the edges, vulgar speech, tossing F. word around, and her trashy lap dance / came across as insecure and jealous. And according to comments from resident in her hometown, has next to no wherewithal financially; had to Host hometown visit at an Event Centre...even her brother told Gerry he was hoping this was going to come to fruition because Leslie needed someone to take care of her. Truly the antithesis of substance 😢
