What happened to the classic & opening to this piece. Adler apparently forgot, and begins "in mitten derrinnen". Also too much screeching going on here. Take two, gentlemen. These are two of the best cantors in the world; the choir is great, and the harmonies, especially at 3:02 and even better at 3:52 are totally gorgeous. Which is the only reason I am disappointed with the opening and the unnecessary screaming in registers that even Helgott barely makes. Would love to see a remake of this, done to perfection. Hard to imagine anyone alive today who can do it better than these two masters.
