I was impressed with her on many levels...She's got 70+ stores and her company is valued at $1B dollars but she runs things like a family business. After making jewelries to sell on fb for years I never thought of going into any local stores to put my handmade earrings for sell there. I have great talents, I made real beautiful unique jewelries but I just need to find my way how to get there like you. Kendra, Thank you for the inspiration video. I loved when she mentioned at 8:00 that she wanted to make the thing she was focussed on, work so badly, that she didnt realise that she experienced already something else which actually worked. I think many can relate to this on a daily basis. Not to be willing to let go of the old and deciding for a different path. It is so simple. If something doesnt work, change something and try something different.
I love Kendra's story and reminds me of how i started, sustained myself during varsity days, my son's birth and went up to opening a store that i had to close just before Covid19. I still believe that though the store closed the dream is still alive. This was really inspiring and encouraging to keep trying. I hope 1day to meet this lady, as she really speaks to my journey. Wooooow I love the fact that Mrs Kendra said I am a mom first.That's why I stopped my career as a beauty therapist when I had my first baby as both was not allowed If only the whole wide world created jobs like this for mom's I dreamt of working in such an environment as Kendra but thought it does not exsists only to finally see somewhere some phenomenal lady is having a dream job environment for ladies esp moms.
The thing I was most excited to hear about was: Where did the Investors suddenly show up from? That was a big build up and I would like to understand that part of her success. For an entrepreneur watching, that was one of the top 2 or 3 bits of vital information.

Im starting a Cloud Computing Business and I have no idea what im doing. this is because of one thing, she is a talent. some people just have it in them by nature! they are visionary individuals with taste and class. they see things most others just don't, they move with times sometimes a little ahead of times. they see the need and desire in people, they are people-oriented and experience has made them even more polished and cultured to be appealing to the masses.
