Thanks for the comments all, I'm using a HEIL PR-781 microphone which I knew would work well, I'm sorry to those that didn't get all the info they required from the video but it was just a random video I decided to make and wasn't planned. So far I'm very impressed with the 7300 but it will not be replacing the FT5K, its not really a fair comparison, no extra roofing filters for a start and the FT5K really deals with QRM amazingly but that's another subject. For a budget Transceiver it's definitely one of the best available.... I'll be keeping mine as my backup radio and my old PROIII is already for sale. Thanks again, Dan G3VM
why not the same with Vhf and UHF. This Icom have 9 bands and dont have V&U , like Yaesu 991. It will be the perfection , can use this SCOPE in ALL bands.
Thanks, not the best of demos but I just thought I'd show people it in use and how the meters move on TX etc and General RX. So far I'm really impressed, I usually use an FTDX-5000 which I love but I have to say that this cute little radio is honestly a joy to use, the TX audio is simply excellent and I've had great reports. By the way, I'm only using the internal speaker for RX here so I'm sure it will sound better with an external speaker. Thanks again and if anyone needs anything in the future please get in touch. 73, Dan G3VM (The HamRadio Shop) Bristol www.thehamradioshop.co.uk

Especially interested how well the NB works on 80m...noise is such a problem where I live

You don't say how it compares to the 5000 though
would be nice with psk31 decode
It would be very helpful if you could zero beat a station. its not that hard
пищит как примус,мои 7700 по лучше работает он так не пищит как етот.
