It is adorable I thought that was truly amazing and very funny watching him/her playing in the river doing a backflip in the river having the the time of his life spraying water out of his trunk
THANK YOU to EVERYONE who helped this beautiful creature get out of the canal. I'm sure he couldn't have managed it on his own. He/she looks young and I think knew he was entertaining people with his head-stand. Hopefully he has a long safe future as a wild elephant.
My heart was in my mouth all the way through. The elephant would surely have tired & lost its life if not for these amazing guys & their determination to save it. I am truly thankful they prevailed and our endangered wildlife is one elephant better off entirely because of their endeavours

Why can't you make a permanent arrangement for elephants to get out of the canal. That elephant is really enjoying in the water.it doesn't want to get out. people should not throw stones at these gentle beings.they are very peace loving animal.people should take a different approach.

Wat I find disturbing is the amount of wildlife being killed . Elephants , lions, giraffe, sharks , whales, rino... The list of animals being killed is appalling That's the reason I support this people , they are the ones that really and truly make a difference.

Now all we have to do is invent anti-gravity to get the elephants out of the canals easier. Or create ramps for them. It seems that both are equally likely to happen.

All kinds of creatures get stuck in canals all over the world...dogs, humans, horses, raccoons, cows, etc. It would do very little to obstruct flow to incorporate an exit ramp periodically throughout the length of the canal.
Invent anti-gravity? Just do a TH-cam search. Lots of people claim to have done it, decades ago! But, you know, some evil corporate giant bought up the patents and suppress the technology!

I am always impressed with these on-locale animal rescues how a bunch of the indigenous people run to help and also with how resourceful they are.
The whole operation was conducted by the wildlife officers. i guess the villagers were there for moral support. :)
