But I completely agree, the older you get you can count your true friends in the palm of your hand. You will meet people and you will see who is true and who isn’t. That sounds like me I’m 16 and I started dating my bf in January of 2020 and I lost all my friends because I got a bf. One of them stopped talking to me for like a whole month out of no where so I didn’t know what was wrong but I was balancing talking to both of them cuz she was the one friend I was closest with. Then like a month later she texted me and told me she would be friends with me again if I left my bf. I didn’t expect me and my bf to last long but I still stuck with him because if she was a real friend she wouldn’t make me choose. She would just be happy for me. And I felt happier without her I felt free to talk to whoever I want and when I want. But just a couple weeks ago she tried being my friend again saying how I was such a good friend and she missed me a lot and I just said “ok thanks” because I wasn’t trying to go through that again.
