Bit late to the party but this just popped into my feed. Are these races sponsored or something? Cause during my races I'm quite anxious about damaging my velomobile while these people are crashing A LOT😅
Hey ya, I think you'll find most of the teams have sponsors. Could be through school funded programs or community grants from council. But yeah, they can cost a bit to fix. Murray Bridge is a big event with so many trikes, not every event is like this, however it's the last event on the calendar and the longest, you got kids out there who have never raced before with pros who have been around forever. Then everyone else in between. Its a fantastic event Cheers
You wouldnt happen to have footage of crash corner around 11:30am on day 2? Our bike got completely wrecked and rider sent away for stitches and we never found out what happened?
Joshua Wundke there was a massive puddle in the gutter. Maybe got a bit to close. I was actually looking the other way haha. Hit pretty hard though. No idea.
@@Mysticdog19 yeah I think you’ll find it’s mostly the younger riders who can’t nav the corners are the ones who mostly come out the worst. Those teams who have to pay for own gear and trikes are far more reluctant to do any kind of damage. Expensive hobby. Get caught up in the wrong line though and sometimes it can’t be avoided. Cheers
Aye you got me in the pink one at 3:43 Not sure if i should be thanking you but thanks.
Millsy MB haha it is a bitter sweet thing hey.... thank you I think!
Great video definitely shows how many crashes happen at the bridge.
The one crash at 6:11 was absolutely brutal. One of our younger team members crashed the kid and we scolded him for it

It's hilarious! It's like watching a toddler derby wrecking about in their little pedal toy cars!
for some reason people treat pedal prix like the new demo derby for some reason I don"t know why
