That speaks to me especially after dealing with a terrorizing roommate. He moved out 2 years ago, thankfully. The time he was in the house was a living hell for me and I constantly felt unsafe. I even considered pressing hate crime charges. Truth be told, I don't actually hate him. There's no excuse for what he did to me but I'm not the kind of person who is intentionally rude or malicious to others. I hope that he learns for the better.

Beyoncé was in a group during Aaliyah's tenure and they were never direct rivals. They weren't even in the same commercial bracket (DC was much more successful in the states and abroad). I bring up Ashanti because she came out the gate with #1 hits, was on a record label called Murder Inc. (big clue) and they even made her adapt Aaliyah's moniker the 'Princess of Hip-Hop and R&B.' Ja Rule stayed calling her the NEW princess. Well the group was always meant to push Beyoncé up front, it was never really meant to benefit all three unfortunately. The group is litteraly called Destiny's CHILD and not Destiny's ChildREN. It's very clear who that child is.

I've survived, COVID, losing my mother and family, losing my job, losing my friends, losing my dreams, losing opportunities, losing my money, losing my reputation, losing my hair, losing my moped that was stolen, losing my girlfriend, losing my pet rabbit, losing my apartment, losing my mind, losing faith in humanity. But, I'm still here typing this. I guess I'm a survivor.
After losing my only child, my son at the age of 21 to Acute Bronchopneumonia, I had to fight my sever depression to keep from going to that dark place in life. This song fits me and my fight to remain on the right path after losing my dad, my son and my best friend in a matter of a few months.
This song got me thru back in 2008 after my divorce from 23 yrs of marriage. And now here in 2023, I'm 55 and once again it's helping me thru depression and other bad things I went thru and traumatized me last year. This song will always be my song!

@@sreyen1065 Thank you. It took me a very long time to get to where I am today, with thanks from my best friend and certain family members. No, I am not dating now. I was with someone for 2 yrs a few years back, but he had his own demons and he has since passed. You will get thru this too. I don't know if I'm a good person to ask for advice because I do not trust men. Mine too would lie to me, promise not to do it again and then turn around and do it again. Last straw came when he got her pregnant. So, I have no trust. Your boyfriend obviously doesn't want to give his ex up. Which isn't fair to you. Or your children, if you have any with him. But you could always gather as much evidence, like text messages or anything else, as you can and show her husband. As for should you stay with him or not...I can't make that decision for you. You will have to think really hard and decide if you will be able to ever trust him. But if there has been any talk of marriage, don't do it until you know for sure. My best of luck to you and I hope things turn out alright. We are Survivors!

@@sreyen1065 you are very welcome. It may take time, but you will get there. It took me a very long time. Even after I divorced him, I still had him in my life. He was like an addiction. He was all I knew since I was 14 yrs old. He has done a lot of horrible things to me and my kids. Finally last year I said enough, and broke all ties with him. It was hard. But after that many yrs, and 23 of them we were married, if I can do it, I know you can. The good thing is, is that you're not married. So you won't have to go thru a divorce. There is nothing for you to be ashamed of. It is he who is cheating, not you. And if you have really good friends who are true friends and love you and family who really love you, they should not judge you if you tell them. They should stand beside you and help you thru this. You'll get there. Be strong.

That speaks to me especially after dealing with a terrorizing roommate. He moved out 2 years ago, thankfully. The time he was in the house was a living hell for me and I constantly felt unsafe. I even considered pressing hate crime charges.
Truth be told, I don't actually hate him. There's no excuse for what he did to me but I'm not the kind of person who is intentionally rude or malicious to others. I hope that he learns for the better.

If you don't mind me asking, I'm going through hell right now, I don't know what to do, 3 years ago I found out that my boyfriend of 12 years cheating on me with his ex girlfriend, I confront them both, she admitted everything, they been cheating on me the entire time, he beg me to forgive him and he promised me that he won't do it again, he said it's a mistake, I forgive him and give him a chance, time flies, 3 weeks ago I found out that they still seeing each other, they never stopped.. my heart broke again, he lie to me again, I haven't confront him yet, and it's killing me inside, also she's a married woman, I'm so confused and disappointed.. please tell me, should I stay or leave? @@sreyen1065 Thank you. It took me a very long time to get to where I am today, with thanks from my best friend and certain family members. No, I am not dating now. I was with someone for 2 yrs a few years back, but he had his own demons and he has since passed. You will get thru this too. I don't know if I'm a good person to ask for advice because I do not trust men. Mine too would lie to me, promise not to do it again and then turn around and do it again. Last straw came when he got her pregnant. So, I have no trust. Your boyfriend obviously doesn't want to give his ex up. Which isn't fair to you. Or your children, if you have any with him. But you could always gather as much evidence, like text messages or anything else, as you can and show her husband. As for should you stay with him or not...I can't make that decision for you. You will have to think really hard and decide if you will be able to ever trust him. But if there has been any talk of marriage, don't do it until you know for sure. My best of luck to you and I hope things turn out alright. We are Survivors!
@@pattiwest55 thanks for reply. And for being honest.. I wish I get strong like you one day. I don't trust men either.. I been cheating on so many times. I'm in so much pain rightnow. I don't have any kids with him, we don't live together, he give me a ring and talked about marriage but I found this out.. I pray everyday to give me strength to move on.. I wish I can be strong like you one day. I don't have any help at all, because I didn't tell anyone, I feel ashamed if I tell.. I don't want them to judge me..
@@sreyen1065 you are very welcome. It may take time, but you will get there. It took me a very long time. Even after I divorced him, I still had him in my life. He was like an addiction. He was all I knew since I was 14 yrs old. He has done a lot of horrible things to me and my kids. Finally last year I said enough, and broke all ties with him. It was hard. But after that many yrs, and 23 of them we were married, if I can do it, I know you can. The good thing is, is that you're not married. So you won't have to go thru a divorce. There is nothing for you to be ashamed of. It is he who is cheating, not you. And if you have really good friends who are true friends and love you and family who really love you, they should not judge you if you tell them. They should stand beside you and help you thru this. You'll get there. Be strong.
