1.) You do NOT have to replace the entire handle on riveted knobs...you have to cut them off. Which is a pita! 2.) All these companies need to stop being assholes and stop using rivets!
I remove the rivet with progressively bigger drill bits. To me it saves the bullshit of having the cut the cunt off. In some circumstances the rivet can be cleaned up and threaded so the handle/knob can be used elsewhere.

100%. I dont like the T handles and they make it almost impossible to swap with the stupid rivet.
