We took the bullet train from Tokyo and it takes 90 minutes to Nagoya.

Nagoya style breakfast :it's worth trying breakfast at local cafe.
Enjoy autumn colors at Tokugawa Garden.
Visit Nagoya Castle: It was built in 1615 by the Shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu.
Topped with golden shachihoko. Most of them are reconstruction, since they were all burned by war. But still it's worth visiting.
