      They should sue this false accuser Christie Whelan, who was not raped, she behaved slutty on the set, they have witnesses, she was going after him, rubbing herself against him, sitting on his lap in her underwear, putting fingers in his ass. They have witnesses. They both were inappropriate with each other equally. She decided to sue the company for $2 million, could not sue him, because he was found Not guilty, still decided to get the millions and sued the company instead and got paid. After Not guilty verdict. Obviously, she needs to be sued for sexual harassment ( she was putting fingers in his butt, used vulgar language while sitting almost naked on his lap behind the scenes). She needs to be sued for deformation and damages.

    I am an Australian and recently returned from 20 years in uk. I worked as a palliative care specialist social worker.
    A patient made a false accusation about me. I was suspended from the hospice and suffered . I became so angry I consulted an employment lawyer. I instructed him to commence defamation action.
    In summary many people judged me as an arsehole for causing a dying patient more pain.
    My lawyer also lodged a claim in the Employment Tribunal but we did not win constructive dismissal. I was summoned to my registration body and the patient died during proceedings. They had to drop the charges but admonished me on record.

    In Germany, during the heigh day of the MeToo movement, there were demands from prominent feminists to reverse the burden of proof in cases of alleged sexual offences. Not only were these feminists given a platform by mainstream media to call for such an abrogation of a fundamental principle of law, but there was shockingly little pushback from media, politicians and intellectuals. When I defended the presumption of innocence in a discussion among friends, I was told that this was a typical patriarchal view to facilitate sexual opression of women... I am still speechless...

    • @professornuke7562
      @professornuke7562 หลายเดือนก่อน +23

      Not just in Germany, my friend, but all over the world. Here in Melbourne, Australia, back in the early nineties, there was a lawyer who killed his wife because she couldn't stand him any more (admittedly he sounded like a right rotter) and flaunted the fact that she had taken a lover. He got convicted of manslaughter rather than murder due to "provocation" still being a doctrine under the law. 8 years, not 20. Feminist outcry lead to provocation no longer being a defense.
      A couple of years ago, a woman in Sydney stabbed her boyfriend several times because he wouldn't give her as much money as she wanted, coercive control by financial abuse I guess she called it. Feminist advocacy groups started shouting for provocation to be a thing.........but only for women. Thankfully, they have not, to my knowledge, been successful.

The comedy will speak for itself. Came back to edit....the carrots would by necessity need to be a horrible unhealthy pasty orange color , as we all know the lovely bright orange indicates the presence of carotene which is good for the eyesight , (all as I understand it). These "carrots" C1 C2 and C3 were all clearly lacking in any good objective vision whatsoever. Dear Vanessa, what a truly extraordinary, articulate and elegant speech. Utterly and completely compelling. The distress, pain and hurt, ie trauma, behind that story is palpable. It has taken years, and I can only imagine, continues for you both.
    Court battles can cause untold trauma, even where 'the accused', has done what they are accused of. It is however unthinkable what it must be like to endure that process where the person, 'the accused', is indeed innocent, and as you so elegantly detailed, taken entirely out of the patently relevant context of where such alleged incidents occurred. As a lawyer myself i feel tremendous shame about the handling of this matter from so many perspectives you have articulated, and although i am only one of them, I sincerely apologise. The law makers, ie politicians, of which I am not one, need also to apologise in continuing to afford vastly different standards of 'privacy and protections' to only one side of the fence.

She was over 30, old enough to stop his advances if happened, he was a hired actor, he was not a director. They both were hired actors, she could stop him joking or making him uncomfortable right there. Or complain to the producers of the show, company straight away, obviously he would stop making her uncomfortable, if he was doing it. She sued the company to get compensation ( she was after 2 million ), this is what’s ridiculous. She got her compensation. They settled the case already. He should take her to court as well for sexual harassment, she was pulling his pants and sitting / rubbing herself against him in her underwear. Disgusting behaviour. Obviously she could not sue him because of the Not guilty verdict, she decided to sue a company. It’s to get quick money, obviously.
