About The Royals:
Drama about a fictional British Royal family, who inhabit a world of luxury and regal tradition, but one that also involves intrigue and unexpected twists revealing the complexities faced by royals trying to maintain high-profile relationships under scrutiny, and continuing to shine a light on the anarchy in the monarchy. The fourth season of “The Royals” picks up after the charming, potentially duplicitous, Prince Robert (Max Brown) is crowned King of England. Prince Liam (William Moseley) and his recently dethroned uncle Cyrus (Jake Maskall) form an unlikely alliance, Queen Helena (Elizabeth Hurley) struggles to control her unruly brood as she figures out her role in the palace. Film a season 5! PLEASE! I was so sad when the season ended the way it did! Then, to find out the show was cancelled! Extremely disappointing. I love this show so much! We need to see a season 5! And so on! This series should have never been cancelled!

Why don’t they find a new producer? Why would they create such an amazing show only to end the show on such a confusing note, leaving so many lose ends?

this ending gave me hope for Robert and Willow. I knew she was gonna be Robert's salvation.I loved the conversation Robert had with his dad at the end, I think this helped him realized just how dangerous of a road he was heading to. Also helped him realize just how much he loves Willow. I really do hope they renew the show for another season. I hope they can redeem Robert. Also one last thing, I didn't like the fact that Jasper was so ready to kill Robert, I mean the guy has issues but Robert doesn't deserve to be killed! what’s worse I got the sense the family was ok with that. I thought it was silly to have Kathryn leave during the wedding as opposed to before. I’m not a Kathryn fan and can tell I will not like where that storyline is leading.
I did love Jasper’s dad cameo.
I think Jasper was gonna shoot Robert only if he had to, I don’t think that killing him was the actual plan. But it was a good episode although I don’t get how Robert didn’t see Jasper’s dad they know who he is and what he looks like.

I just finished the last episode of the royals and i'm suing😭😭😭😭 how the hell could you cancel this great show?!?! And ending it like that?! Its a crime! At least you could've end it right instead of giving us this open peace of trash! Shame on you!

I'm very late to this show and just finished watching Season 4. PLEASE film a Season 5 as there is too much left unknown.
I found the last part in a secret cellar. Here it is:
⭐The wedding
Eleanor warned Wilhelmina about the coup, and she told Robert, who is now King. Wilhelmina pretended to be part of the coup, but she actually planned to marry Robert as planned. Robert knew about the coup and hired his own security firm. What they did not know was there was an assassin at the wedding,
with a gun and one bullet. The couple marry as planned. The assassin aims at the King but misses, hitting Wilhelmina instead. She dies immediately.
The King is devastated, he rules England and become overly paranoid and tyrannical.
The attack at the wedding gets him some sympathy, but with time people get tired of the growing surveillance and restrictions.
They do not like Robert and want to get rid of the monarchy.
Members of the Royal family who participated in the coup are banned from the palace. Jasper is happy with Eleanor in the real world.
Eleanor is busy with charity work and having children. Liam is angry at Jasper for telling Eleanor about the coup. He thinks this is the reason the coup failed.
The British people are unhappy with the monarchy, there are massive protests. Eventually the British citizens overthrow the monarchy.
⭐The Prison
Robert, the King is arrested. He has his own prison cell, the only thing he asks for is a chess board, so he can play chess with his father and talk to him.
While overthrowing the monarchy, the British people confiscated everything, but Robert managed to hide family treasures.
Years pass, different family members are looking for the treasure, they finally figure out Robert knows the location. Robert has no plans on disclosing the location of the treasures (crowns, diamonds, historical pictures) to his family, who betrayed him. However, there is one thing he hid, which he now needs. He hid a black book with dirt on politicians.
If he gets his hands on the book, this could help free him, and topple the current government, which has become very corrupt.
Robert’s father (imaginary) is upset with the new government, he wants them destroyed. He tells Robert to get the black book, but Robert is still in prison.
So, he asks his family for help.
⭐Jasper & Eleanor
Jasper feels guilty for the failed coup. This time when Liam asks for his help, he plans to prove his loyalty to the mission. Jasper’s father helps find the treasure and secret black book. Jasper provides security. Liam provided him with weapons. Eleanor is kept in the dark about the mission to bring down the New British government. This causes some tension in their relationship, but ultimately it works out. At the end, Jasper gives Eleanor a large bag of treasures, for her charity. They go around to poor neighborhoods giving gifts, just like they did when they were young.
⭐Country House
At the end, we see the family together in a fancy house in the British countryside. Everyone is getting along. On the TV screen we see members of the British parliament getting arrested. At the same time the announcer says facial recognition and other surveillance will be permanently removed.
Robert and his father have a chess match. The father is finally happy; the royalty was abolished, the corrupt government taken down, his children are safe, they have matured and do not act like ‘zoo animals’.

Mark Schwahn said in The Royal Hangover in the third season (I guess?) that Kathryn had a doctor’s appointment schedueled on the blackboard in her apartment. He teased that maybe it was just nothing or perhaps a Royal baby as it turns out. I still think the baby could be Robbie’s though.
steveismylover I do remember Mark saying something about the chalkboard in Kathryn's apartment in the Royal Hangover (Season 3). It would be a twist if it is Robert's, but I think too much time had passed for it to be Robert's.
I don’t think the baby is Roberts, if it was Kathryn would seriously be showing right now. Plus the doctors appointment was scheduled before she and Robert slept together once he got back from the island.
Deuce Davis You’re right, I remember seeing the “Doctor” notice in S03E10 when Liam visits Kathryn before Robert dumps her, but I forgot that at least six months have gone by while Eleanor was travelling. So yeah, obvious the baby’s Liam’s (Goddammit!), unless there’s something we don’t know yet.

Too much time has passed since they were last officially together. The fourth season finale occurs at least four or five months after the third season finale.

I've just finished the show on Netflix. I am sad that is not renewed. I love king robert, he reminds me Chuck bass a little bit. He is charismatic, strong, and have a dark side because he went through a lot (daddy issues, brother who still his girlfriend etc,...) He is a complexe character and I think Willow can appease him and make him better. They are perfect to each other. I'm happy she said yes. And I don't really like Kathryn, she has no personnality, she is just being pretty and that's it. I hope liam find a better person for him.

Nilanjana Chowdhury We don't know yet what Robert told Willow. It might have been why she said yes. I think Lucious entered the limo to talk to Kathryn and either ask her for help or threaten her. If she isn't safe, it's possible she is being kidnapped. Regardless, I'm sure she will survive, because the baby reveal would be pointless otherwise.
Does Robert really love Willow? Does Robert have some psychological issues with him playing chess and having conversations with his dead father?
