    New viewer btw: in my personal breakdown based on your video is I feel like you start to embrace who you are both from your heart, mind and body. Once embodiment is met together. And begin to feel like your authentic self truly. Slowly removing yourself from the negative thoughts and negative energy. To slowly transcending an arising positive and protective aura around yourself

    Thank you for this video. I have been going through a very similar experience and have previous experience with IFS. The childhood trauma is truly overwhelming but videos like these helped. In that moment you have to just surrender and feel the emotions. IFS taught me to be there for the inner exiles and show them why their self beliefs are false.

    6:04 This is so on the nose. I also agree with your point about the value of not just going complete non-duality and saying you were never broken and theres nothing to fix, because that paradigm, though perhaps true for some, has lead me into a contracted state by not actively embodying my feelings. Though a parasocial relationship, I'm grateful to have you in my life Sam! You've made such an impact in my process to live more authentically.

    Im literally terrified of being rejected or not been liked by someone. I know mentally I’m going to survive if I’m being rejected but the fear keeps me from being authentic and that makes me feel deeply lonely

    • @SamRoff

      Yeah I know that feeling. I remember there were periods that there was a sense of 'There's no way I could possibly feel the sensations of discomfort' when that stuff was arising. If you commit to being kind to yourself and allowing yourself to feel those unpleasant sensations, you will start to feel more centered. The key is to slooowww down, and comes with a beginners mind over and over again. There's a very real reason we developed coping strategies like that. Sounds like you're getting leverage on it now though which is where the alchemy begins. Keep at it :). Speaking frmo experience, it can and will calm down and serve your growth into authenticity tremendously.

    Respect how your experiences relate alot to people who experience confusion in their spiritual evolution and you bring clarity and a guidance to have a good relationship with our own emotions to build trust to confidence and fulfillment. Having a good relationship with ourselves creates a beautiful relationship with friends family and our success. Thx bro

    I have noticed the subtle thoughts in the background. That is all, just a notice. Can't really say more about it because I've just recently caught it in the act. How fun. Thank you.

    Somatic Experiencing is great too (along with IFS, etc.). I was part of the KI membership for over a year and made lots of progress using the tools with a daily practice but left after the leadership became very toxic, even cult like. Now I don't mention it or suggest it to anyone as I don't think it is a healthy community due to the leadership.

    Hi Sam - how quickly have these contractions dissolved for you? I've been doing this embodiment work for several years and it has been a very slow thaw. Best wishes.

    • @SamRoff

      Hey! Much more accelerated lately. Depends on the approach you take. Slow thaw overall though, undoubtable progress. Best wishes to you too.

    • @SamRoff
      @SamRoff  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@f4llenstarr good question - what did you resonate with the most? Generally speaking you can feel where you are deficient as you listen to each point and then open more deeply to any one.
      Bodily sensation/embodiment awareness is probably the most profitable in my experience - especially if we’re working with trauma. It creates a solid foundation and is where deep inner work occurs.
