Misleading title as this is not an Hercule Poirot story. It is however one of Christie's most enjoyable novels. No pretensions and is borderline comedy. As another comment points out the ITV version was awful. Shoehorned Miss Marple into the story. Main character was reduced to a walk on part just there as a possible suspect. Changed the victim. Changed the killer. Changed the motive. It was not The Secret of Chimneys. Why they think they know better than the actual author is beyond me. Well we know why. Name recognition. People will watch a Miss Marple episode who wouldn't watch otherwise.
