When they were recording, Chen says that he was feeling so much the song that he screamed and the song turned out so cool. iirc someone in exo said that in choosing songs to include in their albums, one of the criteria is that the songs should sound and look great if performed in concerts (non verbatim bc my mind does not work properly anymore and i cant really remember who said this, when and where, BUT i really remember this info). anw correct me if any of the thing i wrote is incorrect or misleading :) but yeah my point is that almost all exo songs are more enjoyable if heard and seen as live performances.
