His driver has more integrity than him. Anyone who will cheat on their spouse and let their children down can never be trusted. These are selfish and self-centred people who will never understand what it takes to really love. They only love themselves and want to be loved, and that everyone else doesn’t matter. Considering that it’s been going on for sometime and they knew there are people who knew about their affair, LPerera & NSeah are only sorry they got caught. I feel sorry for their families. In the end, family members are people who hurt and suffer the most from the ordeal, not the shameless couple themselves

Extra-marital affairs aside, I'm way more disgusted by how LP treats this old man. This is how you treat someone who worked for you for over a decade and treated you like his own family.
The driver wasn't "released" because LP was concerned about his age. That's the story he told his mom. LP outright fired him using the excuse of "not knowing how to use GPS", conveniently right after the driver decide to approach PS. Even after he was unceremoniously dismissed, he continued to reach out to LP not to beg for his job back, but to try and talk LP out of his affair with NS, as evidenced by the Whatsapp messages. He was acting out of genuine care for LP to not let him sink further into his mistakes, only to be ghosted by LP completely.
The amount of hypocrisy by some WP supporters here is amazing. Constantly preaching about "checks and balance" yet attacking this poor driver for not carrying your dirty secrets to his grave. For those of you who keep saying he's just the driver he has no right to talk about his employer blablabla.. Stop lying to yourself. If this person is a some committee member in WP under LP's ward, you guys would still attack him for essentially coming out to tell the truth.

Also, adultery in itself is not illegal and not punishable. I would think the Speaker's relationship was more inappropriate given he is supposed to be impartial (but had an affair with a PAP MP).
All this is being done to deflect from the Iswaran and Ong Beng Seng corruption scandal. We still don't know how large that scandal is as the CPIB and PMO have been unforthcoming with details. This is the most brilliant smokescreen one could think of. If PM Lee knew of the Speaker's relationship "some time after" GE 2020, why did he make him resign only now?
