The difference between tyler ulis and chris jones is the difference between kentucky and louisville basketball. Tough as nails vs. garbage ball players

Best part of the game was watching Willie give that long, disappointed look at Harrell after he took a dive on that race to the ball. I think Booker was jawing at Harrell after that play too.

Tyler Ulis was nothing short of brilliant coming off the bench in this game for Kentucky. A real luxury to be able to bring a point guard with Ulis's skills off the bench when Andrew Harrison is struggling as he was for much of this game.

I think you nail it there. There are so many important pieces on this team, none more than Ullis; he makes the whole system work. I don't think there is a team in the league that can interchange their point guards like UK so readily without suffering any loss in production or rhythm.

I call this "The flop game". It's not shown in this video, but you can see Chris Jones' embarrassing flop in this game in other videos on TH-cam.

This is the staple of Kentucky/ Louisville. It really doesn’t get any better. 12-0 v 11-0, cal v Patino. 1@4

Shot clock violation call completely blown. Also the Harrison Twins hogging the ball the entire shot clock instead of getting the ball down low to Towns or Lyles late in the game. We needed Tyler Ulis to run the point late in the game to make the good passes or take good shots he always did instead of Cal letting Andrew & Arron hog the ball. Bad call by Cal, I know he regrets letting the twins try to win it.

They may well have been one torn ACL from doing just that. I'm still heartbroken for Alex Poythress and for this team as a whole.

How we didn't win the Chip that year I'll never know ✌️💙

If the Cal lets Tyler Ulis run the point late in the game vs Wisconsin that year, they go undefeated. He wouldn’t have made the selfish bad shooting decisions that Aaron & Andrew made that game. Also the blown shot clock violation made the difference. & Alex P. Tearing his ACL hurt us. He was an experienced junior forward that made the freakish game changing plays. He dominated Wisconsin his sophomore year.

Having Poythress would have been game over. Would have dominated. Refs completely changed the momentum when they didn’t call the blatant shot clock violation, then Cal should have pulled the Harrisons when things started going south. Bracket was rigged for the rematch to begin with, gave Wisconsin the easiest bracket possible so that it happened.
