Exact same problem with my happy planner, I ended up not using it first 😠 but then used scrapbooking papers, stickers and cut outs to cover the pages I won't use. It's such a beautiful book but I needed it to be less restrictive. going to fill it with skulls, roses and all that beauty, and add my fave book quotes that live in my soul. Love you lady, you give me such comfort and giggles ❤
The way i watched Cristine (simplynailogical) on youtube for years and i remember when she first came out with Holo taco. It's so cool just randomly seeing it!
I also cancelled my BOTM sub several months ago- the reason in the end was that in order to keep their price point in hardcovers low they eliminated all the extras that make a book beautiful and I really hated that. I collect books and appreciate little intricacies like spot gloss and foiling- I hated the flat shiny paper covers and I also hate the botm tab printed on the covers. So I’m slowly reading through my collection and unhauling the ones I don’t care to have in my collection and purchasing the originals of the ones I do. I liked the idea of the reveal and getting to pick a book.. and if they sent the book the way it was originally published I’d still be subscribed but alas- that is not the case so it had to go. I thought my roommate is a vampire was so cute that I ordered the fairyloot special edition even though I’ve never read from the author. It was a random splurge but I just thought it was so adorable and needed it in my life lol
You should check out The Aurelian Cycle! It’s YA but one of my favorite and best fantasy trilogies! It’s exploration of trauma, class systems, “lesser of two evils” and friends/enemies to lovers is phenomenal. The emotional yearning in absolutely top tier. I re-read every year 😂 and I’m currently on my third.
I’m obsessed with Robin Hobb, she will shatter your heart into a million pieces. Over… and over. But holy crap I love the the farseer trilogy and liveship,
