8:30 we have family Bible time and then my bigs begin seatwork while I focus on my littler ones on speech, reading lessons, and activities or a park morning. Then we have lunch and I cuddle and nurse my little baby girl. Then my littles lie down while I have a tutoring period with each older child while they all do their reafing based studies. Then I have an hour of cleaning and cooking with anyone who wants to be my buddy and chat and others go play for a bit before supper. It is a pretty simple routine that is working right now....I feel routines changes with each baby.

Love that Elizabeth loves reading I hope she still does, I have readers too and it’s so good for all areas in education. I read a statistic earlier that made me sad and that was 24% of reception age children don’t own a book! We have hundreds of books, I can’t imagine a child not having their own books it made me quite sad. Reception age here is the first year of school, children usually start in the September following their 4th birthday but compulsory have to start the term after their 5th birthday. I have a spring baby who was born Valentine’s Day so he was 4 1/2 and then my daughter is 12 September so she started a few days before her 5th birthday

That was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your day with us. Rhythm is so important to our day too. Our rhythm is very different in some ways atm but the bones are there. I'm enjoying being at home a lot instead of dropping and picking up teens. We're able to work as a family on big jobs and have a fire pit that's getting a good work out with all the sticks we're picking up to fuel it. Tonight we're doing a roast in the camp oven, gotta get the coals by mid afternoon so we're starting the fire soon. On a Tuesday!! . Kids are enjoying that difference in the rhythm. Xxoo
What I liked most about your video was the fact that you saw you had too many beans and just casually said you'd can them up. I always think of canning as a process you plan for and set aside for the entire day for. You helped me see that it is possible to work into an otherwise ordinary day.

I like your kitchen, I have binge watching your volgs. I know you will have many problems and reason why it is not. The thingi is the wooden top bench island it real works and by you taken the seat next to cooker it is not the mose comfortable seat you have control of the cooker and breakfast bar. I also the standing boy on a stool for breakfast!!!

Hi. My sister and I are on our new homestead with our parents. We home school too. We have chickens and going to get more animals. We help our mom with the garden and the orchard we're growing. We want to hatch eggs too. Our mom told us we have to keep them humid and warm enough so we can't just put them under a heat lamp. We tried though and accidentally cooked it oops. lol We drink hot tea at home too. Are you having a boy or a girl? Do you know? We enjoyed your video!

I did the exact same planner for my kiddos. I used to do the entire year, but have found doing it monthly works better for us at this time.
