Ekahau Pro is the main application if you want to view everything. Ekahau Analyzer is just a quick look at the spectrum without opening the app on a computer.
The Analyzer doesn't seem to add much to what is already in Ekahau Pro. The spectrum view is really no different from what is in the Ekahau Pro software. And where are the signatures to identify the types of interference? AirMagnet have had this for years. The inability to record where you are on a floor plan is a major con. The lack of reporting is a also big issue for me. The analysis is far too basic and as a result it is not very clear where the problem is. Ekahau seem to have taken the same information you get from Ekahu Pro, running on a laptop, and put is on an iPad/iPhone. They have then just changed the way this information is presented and then called it something new. I've also recently received the annual support charges. In 2 years they have gone up from about £600 to £1700. I'm really struggling to see sufficient benefit to justify such a large price jump. After 10 years of using Ekahau, I am now seriously considering switching to Tamograph Pro.
it looks like you need to get the Ekahau pro to go with that in order to have the floor plan view.
